About this villa rental
Located in Avalon, this attractive villa for $403 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. If you want to be in the heart of town and walk anywhere this is it. It is on the first block, steps to the sand and steps to any restaurant or bar. Right next door to the Catalina Island Conservancy so easy if you want a tour or event. Two nice decks, you can have a drink and enjoy the views or people watch. All newly redone, nice everything. Nice new TV. It technically is a one bedroom but it is 1100 sq ft with two euroloungers that fold out and all bedding/towels included. This is a fun place to go and you will love it, we do. NEW POLICY, NO REFUND DUE TO CANCELLATION. Sorry, it was getting to be a pain in the neck. VRBO does offer travel insurance. I treated my sister to a mini vacation on Santa Catalina Island. The little yellow house was perfect, excellent location, Marty was outstanding as a host. Everything was as described in the listing. We could ask for no more. The house was exceptionally clean, excellent views from the front deck. We cannot wait to return.!

My friend and I went over (she had never been there). The house was right by the beach, the store, restaurants, and the pier, and within walking distance to everything. The house is super cute, and very clean, and will stay there again. Make sure you have your coffee on the third floor watch the water and relax. Thank you again for everything :)

Absolutely love Marty’s home. I’m always raving about it to my friends and even showing them so they can rent it in the future.
Location, location, location!!!! It can’t get any better than the yellow house. Right next to the beach and just doors down from Mi Casita, NDMK, and the donut shop. All my friends were jelly that we didn’t have to walk very far from the Catalina express or from the race finish line.
Very comfy accommodations for our family of 4. My teen stayed on the futon on the 1st floor and my 10 yo had the futon upstairs with the king bed.
Loved how we could watch the boats come in from our balcony. I had fun texting my friends welcome to the island.
Already booked this lovely home again for my upcoming races. Marty is such a wonderful host and makes the check in / out process a breeze.

Marty was extremely helpful and made the process of checking in and out very smooth. He was prompting answer any questions we had via text. The property is a short walk from the ferry, which was perfect for traveling with an infant. We didn’t even need to rent a golf cart our entire trip, as the grocery store and shops were all walking distance as well.

If I could give Marty, the host 10 stars I would! Very responsive and friendly! Gave us several restaurant recommendations with the check in instructions. Lobster Trap was outstanding for price and quality of food. The property was exactly as pictured, very clean and so convenient to downtown. Yes, a bit noisy during the day because of the golf carts but only if the windows/doors were open. In the evening there was no problem. As stated a great place to sit and watch people. Very comfortable, we would definitely stay there again! Thanks Marty.

Marty was super communicative, so no confusion with anything.Very fun location and super convenient to all of the tourists adventures. NDMK on the same street had amazing fish and chips...Marty gave wonderful restaurant suggestions in his information sheet. Avalon is a funky beach town and Marty's Little Yellow House has a funky feel, so it fits right in. Definitely recommend!!!

This property was perfect! Before arriving Marty sent super helpful instructions. The property was super clean and well kept. This stay was perfect for a couple because there was one large comfy bed! We loved having 2 floors and 2 balconies. We would 100% stay again!

This property is close to so many things - beach, restaurants, activities and less than 3 blocks to Vons. Speaking of cooking, you'll find everything you need to create meals at your home-away-from-home in the fully stocked kitchen. Just add food.
There is a deck on each of the two levels that is great for coffee freshly brewed from the Keurig Duo Plus coffee maker or an evening beverage while people watching.
Marty is an top-notch host who is available and communicates well. We look forward to our visits.

I had visited the island only once before in November and decided I'd love to return with my son in the summer. Marty was an incredibly helpful and responsive host. The location of the rental is a perfect spot to call home base as we explored the island. The people watching from the decks was excellent!
The rental is well equipped for any adventure or meal you can cook up.

Great place to stay for 2 people. Large kitchen with a loft bedroom. Has a balcony off kitchen and off bedroom. Homeowner is very responsive and friendly. Please be aware the condo is on the busiest street in Avalon.

Beautiful place. Very up to date. Lots of things to play with. We only got to use the kayaks but look forward to another stay when we can do more. Close to everything. Marty was amazing. Let us in early and stay late. One little issue, I could not find salt and pepper. He had it at it door the next morning. Awesome experience!!

I really can't say enough about our stay in the 2 level Yellow House. We spent a few days there for my birthday and it was exceptional! The pictures don't do it justice. So much thought was put into making sure guests have everything they need for their stay. The kitchen was equipped like it was someone's home. The knives were sharp, the pans were real non-stick, the cabinet was full of spices, there was filtered water coming out of a small spicket in the kitchen sink, the double sink was deep, and you had everything utensil and appliance you could think of! The bed was super comfortable, I even asked where it was purchased and plan on buying one!! Even the sofa beds were comfortable to sleep and sit on. We enjoyed eating meals and having drinks on both decks (great views by the way). We needed a little assistance to figure out how to use the tv and Marty replied with a call within minutes to explain how to use it. We could access just about anything we wanted and the wi-fi was fast and reliable. It was a quick and easy walk from the ferry, around town to different restaurants and stores, and to the grocery store. I hands down highly recommend the Yellow House in Avalon without hesitation!
