Bamblue Boutique Apartments

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! I spent a whole week here at the end of October, and it was a wonderful experience! One of the things I liked most was having a swimming pool with sun loungers right at the hotel. It was amazing to be able to swim and sunbathe even at the end of October! The hotel provides cleaning products, dishwasher tablets and rubbish bags, and the towels are changed every three days. The staff are very helpful and always happy to answer any questions. The whole team speaks English very well and replied within seconds in WhatsApp. My room (No. 11) was quite spacious and had a huge private balcony which could be perfect for setting up a little play area for children or simply using a drying rack! 😀 Other rooms on the first floor share one long balcony. The bathroom was also spacious, although the shower and toilet were in the same room. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed, a dishwasher, microwave, two electric plates, two frying pans, two cooking pots, and a large fridge with a spacious freezer. There were also complimentary coffee capsules and two small cartons of milk (regular and plant-based), which was a lovely touch! You can buy additional coffee capsules at the hotel or at a nearby shop. The location is excellent! The beach is just a short walk away, and you can swim in the sea there. The access to the water is pretty much the same along the entire beach. The train station is about a 10-minute walk if you walk quickly, or around 15 minutes at a relaxed pace. From there, you can easily travel to nearby towns or to the centre of Barcelona (1h10m) I actually arrived by train from Barcelona Airport (Terminal 2), so it's a convenient option if you're travelling without a car. I recommend checking Google Maps for directions, as the routes and travel times are generally quite accurate. There are cafés and restaurants nearby, as well as several grocery shops.

One thing I found a bit confusing was the cleaning service. During my entire week-long stay, nobody came to clean the room. By the end of the week, there was some dust, dirt and hair on the floor, which was quite noticeable even though I was staying alone. The bed linen wasn't changed either, although perhaps this was because I was only staying for one week. It would be helpful if the hotel explained the cleaning schedule more clearly. In the booklet I have got was only mentioned the schedule for the towels change. Another confusing thing was the rubbish disposal system. I understand how to separate waste, but it wasn't clear which of the outdoor bins should be used for which type of rubbish. Some clearer signs or instructions would definitely help. It's also worth mentioning that the hotel is located between two potentially noisy areas. On one side, there's a park with a skate ramp where people ride skateboards, rollerblades and scooters until quite late in the evening. This can get noisy. On the other side, there's a fenced area where dogs are either walked or trained (I'm not entirely sure which). The dogs often bark at each other, and it can get really loud!

Very comfortable apartment, nice decorated, fully equiped. In the walking distance from the railway station; shops and restaurant in the neighourhood. Extremely clean, both the entire hotel and the apartment itself. During our stay the apartment was additionally cleaned once and towels exchanged as well; the cleaning service was announced prior, not to bother us. Very helpful, responsive and nice staff. We really enjoyed our stay :-)

nothing to complain

Clean, large rooms. Excellent shower. Good pool area

Bathroom sink poor draining for toothbrushing, shaving.

All beautifully understated.

More than happy with everything. A hidden, understated gem.
