Séjour extra

Petit établissement familial situé sur la plage. Tout le personnel est adorable, aux petits soins pour ses hôtes. Nous avions le bungalow numéro 4, situé sur la plage, à quelques mètres de la mer. Le bungalow était de bonne taille, la literie confortable et dispose d'une petite terrasse qui donne en front de mer, avec un hamac. Le restaurant est très bon, à des prix tout à fait abordables. La plage est assez grande, et très jolie. Très peu de monde. Si vous aimez la foule, les bars, faire la fête, passez votre chemin. C'est un endroit très tranquille. Zénitude et moments méditatifs au programme. Il y a un autre établissement à côté pour varier les plaisirs des menus si besoin. Il est possible de louer un scooter sur place. Ce que nous avons fait, 250 baths pour la journée. L'ile est tranquille, c'est très simple de se déplacer et sans danger. Attention toutefois de ne pas aller trop vite, les routes sont parfois très sinueuses et cabossées. Nous y avons passé 4 nuits et nous avons adoré notre séjour. Petit goût de paradis! Des masseuses sont à disposition tous les jours à l'ombre des cocotiers sur la plage qui proposent de très agréables massages Thai.

Stay in paradise

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Ende einer ruhigen, langen Strasse direkt am Strand einer kleinen, traumhaften Bucht. Es sind sehr wenig Touristen da. Die Bungalows sind zweckmässig ausgestattet und das Highlight ist definitiv die Terasse mit der Hängematte. Es lohnt sich ein Strandhaus zu buchen. Das Personal ist super nett, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Roller kann man ebenfalls für 250 THB/ Tag mieten. Sie sind sehr hilfreich um die Insel zu erkunden, da es keine Taxis oder TukTuks gibt. ( Ausser beim Transfer zur/ab Fähre). Das Phad Thai ist eines der Besten was wir auf der Reise gegessen haben aber auch der Rest des Essens ist super lecker und zu guten Preisen angeboten. TiPP: fragt nach einem Schnorchelausflug an der Rezeption- man bekommt eine super private Tour.

Die Matratze ist etwas hart und das Wasser fliesst verhältnismässig langsam aus dem Duschkopf. Wlan Verbindung ist eher schwach und nicht geeignet für längere Onlineaktivitäten. ( es reichte prima für Recherche von Aktivitäten und Nachrichten an die Familie☺️ )

Very relaxing

Die ruhige Lage und die Kanus die man kostenlos mieten darf. Das Personal ist herzlich, und lächeln immer. Man fühlt sich sehr willkommen(Familienbetrieb) Bitte beachten sie, dass um suf der Insel rumzukommen ein Motorrad mieten muss, gilt für alle Hotels auf der Insel Essenspreise sind sehr fair und Essen schmeckt gut

Perfect getaway spot

Beautiful location, right on the beach. Not much else around but you don't need anything else, the on site restaurant is delicious, reasonably priced and has a wide selection of options. Ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there for the 2 days we stayed (pancakes, omelette, smoothies, coffees, green curry & pad thai all very good). The beach is lovely and sandy underfoot for a swim. The staff were the friendliest bunch of people I've come across so far in Thailand. Fresh drinking water provided each day, hammock outside the front door door relaxing. They also have people there doing massages and they do laundry if you need it. We also stayed near white beach area in Kod Kood, but this is much nicer!

Bed was a bit hard, I slept like a baby but my girlfriend didn't enjoy it so much. My only complaint!

Relaxing stay

Perfect location for relaxing. Calm beach with clean sand. Spacious rooms with hammock outside. Most friendly staff. Restaurant serving tasty thai food made with love. Can recommed for anyone interested in peace and quiet and relaxing!!

Einfach toll

Toller Strand, tolle Lage. Sehr nette Bettreiber-Familie. Alles sehr unkompliziert, leckeres und günstiges Essen. Sehr ruhig, für Ausflüge und Co. braucht man einen Roller, den man dort leihen kann.

Klasse Anlage, ei Fach gut

Sehr familiär, Restaurant sehr gut, Der Strand war super, viel Schatten und genug Liegen.

Das gilt nicht nur für das RimLay sondern generell. Man sollte sich ein Moped leihen (200 - 350) THB. Es gibt keinen ÖVP.

Paradise

If I'd need to describe this place with just one word I'd go for 'paradise'. The place is simple but beautiful and members of the family that runs it are very kind and friendly. They rent good quality scooters at good price, kayaks and paddle boards you can use for free. The food is tasty and fresh. If I'd ever travel again to Koh Kood I'd stay there again.

The hotel is located in a beautiful and lovely beach, the staff was very nice and helpful.

In general the room was kept in good condition but the bathroom could have been better cleaned.

people in Rim Lay is very nice and with a kindness. I gotten a room not close to the beach,it’s would be nicer if It was the room next to the beach ,water in the shower not so strong and no wifi only in the restaurant but I don’t really mind with that , I hope I will get the room next to the beach next time! it was a beautiful beach in ko kood (the most important!) all is great 👍🏼

The staff is the best i meet in Thailand

The best thing about the hotel is the staff they are so nice and friendly and they will help you with basically with everything you need. The beach is one of the top beaches in Thailand and it just in front of the property The breakfast is so tasty and affordably and available until midday and later

Room service waits for you to ask them to clean and their is a little bad smell in the bathroom. They might need to get a pest control company soon because ants and geckos are a bit too much

Paradise

Rim Lay is in the best bay on Koh Kood. The sea-view bungalows are fantastic, food is great and more than affordable, the family that runs it is really nice. There's a market near by, and other bars and restaurants at the entrance of the bay, the beach is perfect. We loved the possibility of motorbike, kayak and SUP rental, and also the fact that you don't need any of it there. It's a place where time stops and you rest.

Wi-fi could be better, but you can solve that with a Thai SIM card, and the curtains in the bathroom were a bit mouldy. Everything else was perfect!

Pleasant a choice for its location

Lovely little bay beach, staff good people limited English tourists hey by. Good food area relatively remote, rooms nice great hammock on my patio staff actually drive me to supermarket when I needed something but I could have walk it there is actually an even closer one. Helpful people

Amazing little bungalows on a beautiful beach

We stayed here for 3 nights over Christmas and loved it so much! We couldn’t of asked for a more perfect stay. These bungalows are right on a gorgeous beach, you can go snorkeling right in the bay here and go around the corner to find lots of fish. They have free kayaks you can use as well as snorkelling gear! I highly recommend kayaking up the little river that runs beside this property, it’s so beautiful. The restaurant here is very good too with very affordable and delicious options. The hammocks out front of the bungalows are perfect and such a peaceful place to relax. We wish we could of stayed longer!

Beach was lovely

Litter everywhere. Why don't the owners have someone pick up all the plastic bottles and debis? . Roaming dogs. No wifi except at the restaurant. Nothing to do. No transport/taxis

Exceptional

Second time here :) we had a great time. We will come back. They are very kind and is the best beach in the island. Free kayak is a plus. Bring cash.

This doesn’t have to do with the place but the fishing boats can be a bit annoying with the green lights and the motor running in the night. Shower needs more pressure and sun-beds could be softer :)

A piece of paradise

Best beach on the island, the staff is really nice. The resort is in a quiet part of the island and due to the access not being that easy it is still quite unspoiled. The beach is superb, the staff will provide with a kayak to explore the surroundings if you want. They also rent motorbikes to explore the island. It is a quite location both during the day and night. Food and drinks are really good as well!

Don't come here if you expect a typical touristy resort. This is an unspoiled piece of paradise and should remain so.
