Upstairs is early 1900s with some original features; downstairs is a bit out of sync with style upstairs and dark because it’s the basement, but overall the house is well maintained and great for a large family or group. House is on a busy street so there is road noise. We walked to dinner every night - downtown is only 2 blocks away.

My family reallly enjoyed staying at Downtown Diggs. Wonderful location— easy to walk to the lovely downtown and playground. Really appreciated how responsive the mgt company was to our questions and requests. (Very close to wineries. We had an extraordinarily lunch and experience at AronHill winery). Fantastic pickleball community nearby.

We stayed in Downtown Diggs for five nights and overall it was a wonderful experience. There were seven of us staying and there was plenty of room. The location cannot be beat. For us it was less than a five minute walk to the restaurants in downtown Paso. The house was spotless and well stocked. The kitchen has great appliances and had everything we needed for the breakfasts and one dinner we had at the house. The management company was great. We had one issue with a toilet that ran for a very long time and maintenance arrived within two hours of our phone call to fix it. We had great weather so took advantage of the grill and the outside sitting areas. The grill's igniter switch was not working but that was easily fixed with a lighter. The only downside was the bed in the on suite bedroom on the main floor. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable. It seemed very old and sagged towards the middle. My husband and I had a very uncomfortable night, and very sore backs, before switching to the other main floor bedroom which had a nice mattress. If that room had not been empty I don't know what we would have done because we could not have spent the entire stay in the other bed. I would recommend replacing that mattress. Otherwise this is a wonderful home in a wonderful location.

From the moment we unlocked the door, we knew we were going to have a wonderful wine tasting trip in Paso Robles. This quaint Victorian-style house was perfect for our large party of 8 adults. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom and there was even an extra bedroom to escape a snoring husband! The property was actually better than described. It was a hot weekend and the air conditioning worked perfectly. There was plenty of room to relax, great outdoor spaces, kitchen and dining areas. The outside deck was lovely at night and perfect for stargazing. We even saw the international space station and the Starlink satellite caravan pass by - it was awesome! Just a short walk into town, we were able to go to dinner without having to drive. Dinner at Fish Gaucho and Hatch was delicious, as was our home-cooked lasagna dinner on Saturday night. All the wineries we visited were fantastic too. Communication with Paso Vacation Rentals was super easy and professional. We definitely plan to visit this property again. Thanks for a lovely stay!

A perfect house for a larger group!! We have stayed in Paso Robles many times but we have never had a house this big and this close to DT. It was beautiful and classy without any limitations. It rained almost the entire weekend so we did not get to use the outdoor area, but even then the house was so spacious we had no issues with 5 couples. DT is 2 blocks away which made it much easier for us to do quick grocery runs or pick up food. We loved it and will be back!
