Avarage ..

Location is just near about to Dashashmedh ghat.

Location is into the street, so it's little bit difficult to find out and escape in emergency. Moreover in this chilled winter , provided only one thin blanket.

Kurzer sicherer Aufenthalt

Die Lage ist sehr zentral und die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind sehr gut zu erreichen. Es ist sehr sauber und gibt einem ein familiäres und sicheres Gefühl. Trotz der großen und lauten Stadt ist es sehr ruhig.

Mein Zimmer war recht dunkel ohne Fenster. Aber es gibt auch andere Zimmer.

Good and comfortable place you must meet in Varanasi

The room is clean and knit, and the location is very near the ganga river. The price is comfortable. All of the staffs in the hostel are very nice. The wifi is good quality and fast. There are many services here, like money exchange, massage, yoga, some tours with good price.

Location of this place is excellent+owner Gaurav is a very nice person and helpful too + availability of neccesities and market is good, very near Kashi Vishwanath temple and dashashwamedh ghat.

Wash size + 1 or 2 toiletries should be there ,nevertheless it's not concerning

Bad experience. Won't recommend this place for your stay.

There was no proper AC. Charged for AC room. No generator when power cut happens. P They were having rude behavior with customers. Monkeys on the way to stay are dangerous. They even attack. So be careful.

Very bad experience

I liked just because it was near to temple and ghats. Rest everything was pathetic.

Hospitality was very bad. The person after reaching the place showed us a different bill and asked us to pay 1000 extra. When asked He was saying to call booking.com and settle the issue. They don't have generators to run AC. Night there use to have power cuts and we were literally suffocating. In between the AC will get cut. It's the responsibility of the hotel people to provide us continuous AC. Even paying for AC we were not getting the benefit of AC. No hot water facility. Overall it was a bad experience with Mother Hostel. I will never recommend this place for your stay.

It was really interesting.

The owner was friendly and helpfull, he knew what we needed and how to help us he answer at each of our questions. the hostel is in perfect place really near with gange and the different ceremony like 10 minute by feet. The room was comfortable

We are from Tamilnadu Dindigul . Food nice, Arrangements if you discuss he arranged well for pooja and site seeing . Total 5 days staying with family. All our family members enjooy the trip. We recommend "Mothers Hostel" is cheap and best at KASI.

Walkable distance for GANGa river. Walkable distance to kasi viswanath temple Hotel are near get good food

Awesome trip and stay

I recently stayed at the Mother Hostel in Varanasi and I must say it was a great experience. The hostel is located in a very convenient location, close to many of the city's famous temples and ghats. The host, Gourav Khanna was very friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary things for a comfortable stay. The bathrooms were also clean and well-maintained. One of the best things about this hostel was the "small" rooftop terrace. It was a great spot to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. Dress washing and pressing shop is nearby. You can wash small items and dry them at the terrace. They provide water at room. Pay for it when you leave. Overall, I would highly recommend the Mother Hostel for anyone visiting Varanasi. The location, host and room are all good and provide a great value for the price. So, it can be a perfect spot for backpackers or budget travellers.

Really great stay! Good location in the old town very near the ghats, and right on the main backpacker street with many restaurants and bakeries nearby. Room was very comfortable, good bed and a nice table and mini-couch for sitting. Normal-sized geyser for hot shower. Even had good quality toilet paper in the bathroom! Gaurav was a super great host. Very helpful and friendly. There was a noise issue with another guest and he was very professional with solving it. He definitely understands what foreigners look for in a hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Location is close to river and convenient to walk in the ghat

This might be general one, If you take a stay near some ghats like this, getting in and out to the room with luggage is next to nightmare. If you are a family dont even think about to these kind of places. Its all inside snaky streets, Parking of CAB is min 2KMs away and the close location if at all a cab can come is 1.5 KMS away if its allowed (may be late nights). If you are new to this place, it will be absolute nightmare. We landed on 31st evening 4 PM and it took two hours to reach that last 2 KMS with multiple transports. In the very end help was provided when absolutely no traffic was allowed three KMS to this place and it kind of seems to normal atleast to 2 KMS to this place. Over phone locations are provided and for a new bee there is no way to make it. Even when we checked out to airport, the car was parked 2 KMS away and carried luggage to the car. Its not convenient at all and I would not stay like this. The porter charges for this is like half the room rent. Its exorbitant. Any requirement was asked, the response was "THIS IS HOSTEL AND NOT A HOTEL". After persuading in cold winter climate with kids, they offered hot water for drinking. So you need to know what you want ahead. They have attached rooms with one Water HEATER for bath. The rooms can occupy 4 / 3 people each and with the small water heaters once can image what will happen. That exactly happened where the hot water was a night mare early in the morning. The toilets are open in the room??? Next is booking a car through them. A normal cab even through a travel agency is 1000 to airport. But they charge 1400 for the same. We had eight other people travelled and booked an Innova for 2400Rs to airport with them. In the end they sent a Ertiga which is again a sever seater as Innova. But are they both same? He told charge was same which is absurd by any means. please get to know the place before booking here.

Location is near to ghats.

Always asking for payment. No value for customer. Once their payment is made they treat us like pathetic hurry for check out.
