Gut organisierte, saubere Unterkunft

Wander Station Varanasi ist gut organisiert. Der Abholservice vom Treffpunkt hat gut geklappt. Wenn man sich erstmal ein bisschen auskennt findet man sich in den Gassen gut zurecht, durch die gute Ausschilderung. Das Restaurant auf dem Dach, mit Blick auf den Ganges, ist sehr nützlich. Wander Station organisiert Ausflüge, z.B. haben wir eine schöne abendliche Bootstour gemacht.

Ein grundsätzliche Hinweis, je nach Verkehrslage dauert die Fahrt vom/zum Flughafen 50 bis 90 min. Bei Ankunft kann man gut ein Prepaid Taxi nehmen.

Friendly hostel in great location

The staff were so helpful and friendly, they were extremely accommodating when we decided to change our plans and arrive a day ahead of schedule and gave us lots of good tips and sights to see. The room itself was very comfortable and the air conditioning was good (needed in July heat!). The rooftop has an amazing view of the Ganges and was a nice place to chill in the evening with a beer.

The walking tour arranged by the hostel wasn’t great so I would save your money and research routes and facts yourself! Bathroom floor needed another drain for the water.

Hard To find. Didnt feel safe. Lack of communication.

Not a safe place for solo travel Girls. Hard to find. Small dark lanes and without help not possible to find. From Main Road around 5-10min walk. Depends on the weight of your backpack or luggage and how fast you are. Room shud hv been private and was double booked. Although they confirmed in my messages. They said its a Lack of communication. They send me to another hotel near by. There Was a private room but the dirtest room i hv ever seen in india. It was already midnight and had no other Option so i had to stay.

Great hostel with good food and location

Great location near the Ghats, amazing people, clean room, good internet, lovely, social rooftop. The chef is really doing a great job there!

Short and sweet

Location was great, room was big but even with 14 beds there was enough space and lost people are out all day anyway.

Very good

All the staff were pleasant and very helpful to our needs. Particular mention for Ms Astha (Reception), Mr Harish (Reception), Ajit (Housekeeping) and Manoj (Restaurant) all did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Particular mention for the owner Mr Ashitosh who arranged personal transport for me to seek out a venue The view from the rooftop restaurant was amazing.

My colleagues who have some restriction on mobility found access by foot to the hotel difficult because the hotel is located in an area where three wheelers or cars have no access. To assist the hotel had managed to arrange staff to assist us with our luggage. Lack of a lift made access to the top floor restaurant restrictive for my colleagues. Overall, the location of the hotel made up for this minor issue.

location is perfect, right in the middle of the varanasi gath! clean, with a nice rooftop and kitchen. The plus are for sure Ashta and Ashutosh(great taste in music) at the reception for all the help! they also send someone to pick u up at a drop location since all the hostels are situated in little lanes and it’s easy to get lost :) 100% recommended!!

Superb

The location was very near to the ghat. The rooms were clean. The entire staff was very helpful and supportive. They were always available to help out with any queries/requests. They arranged proper pickup and drop which was really very helpful. Felt very safe throughout my stay.

Amazing stay Beautiful hostel incredible vibes. Is it not chaotic and they had classical (indian) music on the rooftop at night. Love every second there

Good but can be better

Cleanliness and Hygiene was maintained. Staff is good. Close to Chausatti and Darbanga Ghat so a plus. 7-8mins walk to Dashashwamedh Ghat so again a plus.

Location is too far from main road and the small lanes towards the property is not hygienic. Plus the bunk beds in the room are too closed too each other and congested, need atleast 20 Sq. Ft extra in the room for proper comfortable stay.

Not amazing but a good comfortable stay.

The view from the terrace was amazing. The host was very friendly and helpful.

The way to reach the location is not quite according to the expectations. The stairs are also not very comfortable while there is no lift facility.

Neat and clean hostel and rooms. Polite and helpful staff. Near to a very good location. Dashashwamedh ghat is nearby.

Reaching this place is quite a task. Though from main road it is 500m inside but the lanes are very narrow and dirty still the location is good as its close to ghat

Worst hostel in Varanasi, Volunteers doing scam there without telling owners.

Nothing, the volunteers doesn't know how to talk with guest's, food was worst, they just value foreigners who can give them extra money, they want to scam you with money exchange and other stuff

Everything was worst when i see how they scam foreigners about money exchange or how they want to bring you to local shop where they sell low price product in high price, they don't have hospitality and the volunteers do lot of scam, they wanna sell drugs and try to seduce girls

The staff really knows how to run an accommodation! Communication, organization, food suggestions, and hospitality were top notch. Even with most of the main attractions flooded we really enjoyed our time in Varanasi; I think most of the this was due to how comfortable we felt with the staffs guidance!
