It was close to the beach and restaurants

Larnaca wasn't our destination. Our flight landed at night and we didn't want to drive a hire car on unfamiliar, mountain roads. For an overnight stop, close to airport, with a comfortable bed and hot water Hai was excellent. The breakfast restaurant was quite close and the owner(?)/manager was very welcoming. Although there was a very loud tavern close by we heard none of the noise in the room. The room was plain but felt better than the price.
We arrived after reception hours and there was a mix-up about late entry to the hotel. Had the taxi driver not helped out we might have been stuck outside.
