About this house rental
Nestled in Gasparilla Island, this attractive house for $732 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. PLEASE NOTE: We rent by the week, Saturday to Saturday Christmas thru April. During the rest of the year we have a strict 3 night minimum. PLEASE NOTE: While a well behaved dog is welcome, we have had to institute a strict ONE DOG policy PLEASE NOTE: We do not discount our rates. Watch the boats pass quietly by at idle speed from your two porches directly overlooking the Boca Grande Bayou if you rent this 3 bedroom, 4 full bathroom elevated boat house. Main living area is accessible only by 24 step staircase. Completely renovated in November 2017, this stylishly furnished and exceptionally well equipped home is now available for weekly, monthly or seasonal rentals. Three night minimum off season rental also considered. One well behaved dog is permitted. No other animals. The beautifully furnished living room offers a brand new, 55 inch Sony Bravia flat screen television. The boat house’s private dock on the Bayou can accommodate your 22 foot boat. This boat house is located on a quiet, secluded street in the Boca Grande Historic District one block east of the Boca Grande bike path and only a few blocks east of the Boca Grande beaches. You can walk, bike or golf cart into town on the bike path. Kitchen is designed and well equipped for the enthusiastic cook. Beautiful and functional fully equipped gourmet kitchen, new in 2017, with stainless steel appliances including gas stove, 3 door refrigerator, dishwasher, disposal, elegant neutral Caesarstone countertops, white all wood cabinets and Calphalon cookware will make vacation cooking quick and easy. Rectangular indoor dining table seats six. Outdoor round dining set on upper porch seats four or more guests. Separate laundry room with washer and dryer and brand new Oreck vacuum cleaner makes quick clean-ups easy. Professional cleaning service is available on a weekly basis at additional cost. Tenants for longer than two week rentals are required to use this bi-weekly cleaning service. That’s how we keep this house sparkling clean for our guests. Each of the three spacious bedrooms offers a king sized bed and its own en suite private full bathroom (one new in 2017) well stocked with white hotel quality towels and new linens, blankets, and pillows and beach towels. The king size bed in the very private lower bedroom can be configured into two extra long twin beds at your option. House sleeps six in beds. Your visitors can access the fourth full bathroom directly from the living room. The upper level screened porch is fully furnished with white, Lloyd Flanders, all weather wicker cushioned sofa, four cushioned arm chairs, one cushioned ottoman and a matching outdoor, glass topped round dining set directly overlooking the Boca Grande Bayou. Lower screened porch off exceptionally private third bedroom with its own separate entrance offers comfortable Tommy Bahama furnishings and can be used as a sleeping porch for one guest in warm weather. Covered parking is provided for two cars and driveway parking for an additional two cars or for your rented golf carts and rented bicycles. PLEASE NOTE: We rent by the week, Saturday to Saturday from Christmas thru April.

All members of my family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. I especially enjoyed relaxing on the porch overlooking the waterway and watching the dolphins and manatees. You couldn't find a better place to observe them! I can't think of a single negative thing to say. Our stay was delightful.

Woke up to manatees and dolphins every morning, spectacular view of the lagoon and surrounding real estate, communicative and caring owner. And an amazing array of cookware and serving/Dining ware. Overall very well appointed. Would definitely go back to again!

Perfect spot to visit Boca Grande with our 22ft boat. We went out every day and explored the area by water. Rented a golf cart to explore the land as well. Three comfortable bedrooms and 4 bathrooms mad it very easy to clean up after a day on the water. Kitchen was well equipped and the grill also. The house was spotless. Loved playing with the manatees who came up to us when we were cleaning the boat. The breeze on the screened in patio was refreshing during the hotter June weather.

We had a great stay at the boat house. It is very comfortable and cozy, and the kitchen, etc was very well equipped. Lots of beach chairs to use also.
The screened in porch is lovely, and we watched the manatee and dolphin daily.

Great place to stay for tarpon season

The Boat House on Gasparilla Island is as wonderful as advertised. The house is in a great central location on the island, and has a nice view of the inland waterway between the Gulf side and the bay side. The corner of the cove where the house is located is a favorite hangout for about 12 local manatee where they seem to play and take care of their little ones. I also caught several fish from the dock including a 27" Snook.
The house is very clean and well appointed. There is lots of space and it is bright and airy.
Andy, the property manager is a real pro. He communicates well and is responsive without being obtrusive.
Next time we are in Boca Grande, want to stay here again.

This was our second trip to Boca Grande and it did not disappoint, once again! This home was perfect for our family and the location was exactly what we were looking for-- quiet area on the water/bayou, close enough to town, but directly across the street from the beach as well. We fished every day off the lower dock, greeted manatees, relaxed on the perfect upper-level screened in porch (amazing views), cooked family dinners, and hung out on the beach with the dog, This house afforded us the opportunity to squeeze in everything we wanted out of our family vacation before our son moves away for college! The owner, Andy, is extremely attentive as well, and will make sure you feel at home and comfortable. We will be back for sure!

If you love to fish....
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is in a great location (easy golf cart ride to town) and is convenient to the beach and kayak launch. The home is clean, very nicely equipped, has 4 bathrooms, 2 king bedrooms, and one bedroom with twin beds. Additionally, beach chairs, umbrellas, floats and a cooler were appreciated!
We have a boat and chose this home for the ease of boat access, dock and trailer parking. Snook fishing from the house was an added bonus! Two lovely screened porches with waterfront views of the local manatee and dolphin were a treat each evening.
The host was accessible, kind and patient with us as we were awaiting military orders for leave and uncertain of our dates. Communication was great and the check in/out process was a breeze. All in all, a great 2 weeks. We are rested and relaxed and hope to go back again soon!

Manatee manor
We just returned from our second stay here. We chose it for the easy access to dock our boat at the house, but loved the house too. The house is decorated nice, has a well stocked kitchen, beautiful screened porch overlooking the bayou, and was comfortable for our group of 6. Andy the owner was quick to respond with a few questions and he went above and beyond helping us with some visitors we had. A big bonus was the large group of manatees hanging around the house that visited us every day. We hope to visit again next summer. Thanks for a great vacation week!

Great and unique place to stay
We really enjoyed our visit! We weren’t sure about the location, but it ended up being the best part. It is private but close to town. Best of all, it is right on the back bay, overlooking a private area that was a favorite spot for manatee. The outdoor porch was perfect, but still had a great tv and WiFi. We ended up kayaking a lot and renting a boat. Perfect for a unique visit to BG.

The owner was a great communicator and made the stay extremely enjoyable. The house is well equipped with anything you need for a fun and relaxing stay. The house is in a great location so it was easy to get to the beach and to town. We rented bikes and a golf cart, fished off the dock, rented paddle boards, and hired a fishing charter for a half day. Gorgeous weather made for beautiful sunrises on the porch and sunsets on the beach.

Unique Boca Grande Gem
We’ve stayed at many VRBO properties and must say that this is one of my favorites. The boathouse is over the water and the views are phenomenal. It was clean with an updated kitchen and very roomy bedrooms. Excellent use of space. The pictures don’t do it justice.

The only problem with our stay was it wasn't long enough. The home is in a great location with everything one needs and is walking distance to town. The front porch is a great place to relax. We hope to stay again on your next visit!

Amazing Vacation Property
We loved the Boat house. The location was incredibly unique and quiet. We loved the easy access to the beach and downtown. The second floor porch was the room we used the most- we spent our time reading, drawing and doing puzzles. I slept in the downstairs bedroom and loved hearing the water all night. The kitchen was well appointed which was very much appreciated. We did our best to treat everything with the utmost respect and care. Thank you!

This house was perfect!! Close to everything we wanted to see and all of the birthday activities. We loved getting around in our rented golf cart. The house was as described, if not better than described. The rooms were well-appointed, clean and nicely sized. We enjoyed the screen porch, watching manatees out the window and the sunrise. If we are ever lucky enough to visit the area again, I would look for this home first.

GREAT BOCA TRIP!
Where do I begin??? Even before we got there our communication was amazing with the owner. He was prompt and courteous. On arrive check in was a breeze. There was a lovely book his wife prepared of anything and everything you would want to know about the home and the island. The home was very clean and up to date with beautiful original hints of the property before the renovation. We had a chef with us and he was impressed with the pots, pans, cutting boards, etc. We were celebrating our sons 14th and he loves to fish so being able to have access to our boat at any time was perfection. Thank you for having such wonderful property!!!
