Our condo is located just a few blocks from the charming German town of New Braunfels and is just 3 miles from historical Gruene Texas. This beautifully newly decorated condo is designed to reflect the blue/green river colors which is located just a few steps away. Inverness complex is located on the Comal Riverbank which provides clean, clear cool water that stays at 72 degrees year around. This limestone -based river has been drawing tubers, paddle boarders, snorkelers, and divers for years. You can see the world famous Schlitterbahn park just across the street. We have all the amenities adults and children can enjoy. You can put your tube in the river at the condo's private park on the river and go tubing without waiting in rental lines and paying for transportation. You can easily walk to Schlitterbahn, Comal tube chutes, restaurants and nightlife located two blocks to downtown New Braunfels. Inverness building has covered parking, elevators and luggage carriers to help move in and out. This condo features fully furnished two bedrooms/two full baths, comfortable living space, washer/dryer, kitchen and dining area. The common grounds have a large deck, river park, pool, grills, picnic tables and direct entry to the river.

This condo was perfect for our family weekend get away. We had three adults, three teens, and two children. We were all comfortable. Condo was right on the Comal. We were able to put in and float about an hour to the last exit, and then it was a easy walk to the condo. Kids loved playing in the river and swimming in the pool. Easy access to activities.

It was a very nice condo. You immediately get the impression Ms. Jenkins takes pride in her unit. We’ve stayed in several condos on the Comal and this one by far was the cleanest upon arrival. The parking is a little tricky, but don’t let that deter you. Ms. Jenkins is very communicative. They also have excellent security at these condos.

Debra was very communicative and on the spot with a small issue we had. Beautiful condo, 2nd bedroom sleeps 4 easily with bunkbeds and Trundle. Shuttles to rent tube was just up the street and you can exit right at the condo. Highly recommend!

From the moment we found this place, till departure it was an awesome weekend; one for the books! 💯 The communication with the owner was 10/10 and there patients for me to respond with information they needed; due to my work schedule, much appreciated for that! The condo was beautiful, easy to find, and very convenient for us since we floated the river and literally exit at the condo! One of the best features we liked was the binder of all the information we need for the river & around town. Wasn’t moments before we found it we were like “okay anyone know where we need yo go?”, then we found it! Without a doubt we will be coming back to the same location and same condo!! Thank you for the awesome birthday weekend!

Great location For floating the river and getting to Schlitterbaun. Pool was much smaller than it appears in photos and it was very dirty. The condo was not too bad but bathrooms extremely small. Otherwise it was a good place to stay.

This was our first stay in a river condo in New Braunfels and we were overall very happy with this choice. There was plenty of space for our group of 6 and with all girls, it was great to have 2 full bathrooms. The unit was clean and well taken care of, a few minor things here and there but to be expected with rentals. Minor snafu with check-in as the required parking passes and wristbands weren’t in the condo but the host was quick to respond and take care of it. A couple of things to know: the river chute was upstream from the condo and it was a hot 20 min walk to the park carrying our own tubes; the balcony is cute but faces the parking lot/another building and a big (but beautiful) tree blocks the river view; and lastly my sister said the full size mattress in the 2nd bedroom (part of the bunk bed) was too soft for her back but it was fine for the teenagers. If you’re not interested in the chute, it’s super easy to directly access the river from the property and there is security to ensure that only guests are using it. We also enjoyed the lawn area where we sat on a blanket, had some snacks and played games, and watched the other floaters. Also spent some time in the pool when we didn’t want to hassle with the river. And one other great thing is there were lots of hooks in the condo for hanging wet towels and swimsuits which is rare find for a large group!

Debra was readily available to answer questions and promptly called about a possible issue with power loss in the area. However, we never lost power, and we’re grateful for that during the unprecedented high temperatures. We all enjoyed family fun together and that was our goal!! We inadvertently left items in the condo after we checked out. However, the integrity of Debra and her staff was stellar!! Debra’s willingness to Mail all items to our home address was such an act of kindness!!! I highly recommend this VRBO rental!!

Our stay was great and enjoyed it. Only issue we had was when we parked our second vehicle under the covered parking when a storm rolled in. There were 3 total cars parked there but we received a text saying to move our car or it would be towed.

Property manager was no help, washer was broke, she knew before we even got on the Property, even left a note attached to washer and called me as we were checking in, said she was working on repairs but doubtful, we were on vacation so just enjoy. Who cared about the washer, use the dryer and wear clothes over and over, it was vacation. There was 6 adults, I teen! 8 towels in the condo, 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towel, used plus disposal and sink had a horrible odor, kitchen couldn't be used. Comforters and sheets smelled. Needless to say Walmart made a killing with us. She sent me a text that I would be reimbursed but I have yet to see anything of that nature. Property manager name is Debra Jenkins. Beware! The amount we paid for the unit was not worth it! Horrible experience!!

Property is in walking distance to the water park. You can also float the Comal for a short float and walk back at the last public exit. The old downtown square is also in walking distance. So overall great location. Area for improvement is the pool. The pool on property was not much to look at. Water is cloudy and the kids didn't want to swim in it. Maybe consider a pool update/renovation. Beds, bathrooms, and kitchen is all good. Are for improvement would be the main couch. Since its a pull out bed its un-comfortable to sit on and the couch cushion don't want to stay in place. LOL.

We stayed for a month (Jan/Feb). The condo is nicely updated and decorated. The kitchen is well supplied, from potato peeler to stock pot to make the soup, and the fridge was spotless! When we had an issue with the internet Debbie came personally to make sure the problem was solved. Highly recommend staying here!

The condo is located within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and Schlitterbahn. Families have plenty of room to spread out along the grassy bank and watch the kids play in the river, unlike many other units along the Comal where banks are steep and heavily vegetated. Floating from the condo to the last public exit is very relaxing and only takes about 45 minutes. It’s a 5 minute walk back to the condo from the exit. It’s a similar float length to the condo if starting at Prince Solms, but the water chutes get tubes moving pretty fast so may not be appropriate for little ones. The pool was chained off for an unknown reason, but the kids had fun in the river.
