About this cottage rental
Nestled in Hot Springs, this lovely cottage for $200 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. This beautiful post and beam, stone and cedar shake cottage is located on the banks of Spring Creek in the quaint mountain town of Hot Springs. The Stone Cottage sleeps 2 in a large bedroom loft with a king sized bed. The cottage features a fully kitchen equipped with everything you need. There is a nice open living area and small dining table. A gas stove is in the center of the downstairs living room/dining/kitchen to provide ambiance during cooler months. The downstairs bathroom includes custom tilework throughout, and there is an enclosed outdoor shower if you prefer. A large brand new deck wrapping around two sides of the home has plenty of space to relax and take in the wildlife and sounds of the creek. There is a jacuzzi tub on the deck with views right over the rushing creek. A sandy beach is located below the cottage and shared with the Creek House next door. You will have access to one of the best swimming holes in the area right below the cottage, and fishing is also a great pastime in Spring Creek. The cottage is just a 5 minute walk to downtown Hot Springs and the Appalachian Trail. All linens are provided along with standard supplies and paper products. Updated Fiber optic Wifi available. Hot Springs is a great destination in all seasons! The weather is mild and roads are tended in the winter time, and the Hot Springs Spa is open year-around for hot mineral soaks. Restaurants and shops are open as well, and we love to hike the Lover's Leap trail on cool, sunny days when things are a bit quieter around here. Summer is a wonderful season to enjoy many things to do outside, including rafting and tubing and venturing up to Max Patch Bald. Spring sees beautiful mountain wildflowers and hikers traveling through on the Appalachian Trail. Fall never disappoints with endless potentials to see the trees changing at different elevations and finishing your day with a fire and soak in the natural hot springs or a beer at Big Pillow Brewing. Fun things to do year around!

We had a great stay. Beautiful cabin! Loved the hot tub! We were surprised to have wifi but no tv. We aren't big tv watchers, but it was too cold especially in the evening to be outside unless getting in hot tub for a bit. In warm weather where outside time is great im sure that works, but in cool/cold weather would be nice to be able to watch tv in evening/night. Everything else was great!

The area was so pretty so we enjoyed just riding around and looking at the rolling farmland & the farmhouses. Now one reviewer said that he didn't feel like their were neighbors. We did have guests in the rental beside us. They were great, but just wanted to let all know that there are neighbors. We hope to return!!

Perfect location to enjoy hot springs and it’s many places to hike. The cabin is peaceful and private. I’ve had bad experiences with hot tubs in rentals, so I was hesitant, but the tub was sublime, and the overlook at the creek make it too hard to resist. Perfect place for a couple to reconnect. No tv or distractions. Wifi works great, so don’t worry about not having your own screens. Otherwise, I’d recommend bringing board some games, and stay off your phone. One thing I’d recommend to the host is to place a pull down shade in the window above the bed for those who don’t want to wake up with the sun. 😜🌞

From sitting on the deck enjoying the creek to cooking meals and restful sleep this is a very comfortable place to stay, with nice amenities and attention to detail. Look forward to a return visit; guessing that any time of year is the right time to visit the cottage.

We stayed at the cottage a couple days for my husband’s birthday. We needed a break from the demands and mundanity of every day life—the cottage fit the bill perfectly. The host thought of everything. Hospitality like no other! We plan to spend time here again. Thanks for the memory!

Absolutely cleanest cottage, especially considering its in a wooded area. Decor delightful. So quiet..open the windows and listen to the creek all night. A wonderful respite from city noise. Sparkling clean hot tub on deck over the brook.

Such a beautiful and unique property! The photos are great, but still don't do it justice. I read many of the reviews before booking the cabin. This cabin absolutely deserves 5+ stars. I also want to address that the minor 'issues' described by other reviewers are not worth being concerned about and should not prevent your decision to stay here. The placement of the cabin and strategic placement of windows makes it feel quite private. Regarding the comments about 'no shades on the upper windows causing a privacy issue' is truly NOT an issue at all. The owners provide a large, folding screen that easily blocks any view from outside. Once you are there, you will understand that screens on the upper windows would ruin the overall look and prevent the natural light that makes the whole cabin glow. Other reviews mentioned how 'close the OTHER cabin is.' When my husband and I arrived, we just looked at each and said "WHAT other cabin?" The 2 cabins are a good distance apart and share a common, very large and beautiful side yard which must be stunning with foliage in bloom. Regarding the 'small shower and bathroom,' yes, it is compact, but we found it to be charming, functional and perfect for one person at a time. The owners attention to even the smallest of details shows how much they care about their guests' pure enjoyment of this property. We feel blessed to have found this bit of paradise.

It was cool and rainy, so we were not able to enjoy the deck on this side of the house during our stay. Access to the creek is nice for warmer weather.
