About this cabin rental
Nestled in Door County, this charming cabin for $300 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Contact Becky! Ready to take your reservation! During Peak Season our property books Saturday to Saturday, we have a 3-day minimum during our off-peak season. We sleep 6 guests (no exceptions) and we allow you to bring ONE (1) dog for a fee. Please respect our neighbor's peace and quiet and do not leave your dog tied to a lead outside barking all day. Please do not bring your dog if they are going to just sit there and bark; that's no fun for your furry family member or our neighbors. Thank you. Boyer Log Cabin is a 3 Bed/3 Bath Wisconsin Log Home centrally located in Egg Harbor for easy access to all Door County activities. Our home is situated on 40 wooded acres that have wide walking trails throughout the hardwood forest. In addition, the 155-acre Door County Land Trust - Oak Road Preserve - is located directly across the road and offers almost 2 miles of walking trails. It's beautiful!! Inside the home, you will find 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, one of each on each level. A King bed is located on the top level, a Full bed is located on the main level (where the kitchen, living room, TV, and wood-burning fireplace are), and a Queen bed is located on the lower level (where the entrance off the driveway is located). Also on the lower level, you will find a couch and chair in another sitting area with another TV. A bathroom is located on each level. A fully stocked kitchen with items needed to prepare meals, a large refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, salad spinner, blender, crock pot, gas stove, and dishwasher. A full Washer and Dryer are located on the lower level with Central Air throughout the home. We have a CHARCOAL grill for outside use. There is a large great room with a field-stone wood-burning fireplace. The covered porch is just off the great room. Huge yard with fire pit and wooden chairs. This log home is one of the best ways to experience Door County, close to everything but secluded and away from it all. We hope you don't expect the Four Seasons Hotel; we try our best and hope you enjoy your stay! We do allow you to bring your well-behaved dog (1-dog) for a $90 fee; please don't forget to include your furry family member when booking, thank you! Blue Chair Capital offers a 5% discount off the rental amount to military members and veterans; please present proper ID. We have 2 other rentals, Boyer Beach House - super sandy beach, Sturgeon Bay, Lake Michigan, sleeps 4 (VRBO#505916) and Boyer Bay House - Egg Harbor, gorgeous sunsets - sleeps 8 - (VRBO#1866692) please visit us there as well!! Cancellations – Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel after that point, they will not get a refund. However; if they cancel less than 60 days, we will make every good faith effort to re-rent the House for the same period and rental amount, and if successful, the entire rental amount will be returned minus a $100 service charge.

Myself, husband, two kids, and my parents had a wonderful getaway to this great property. We enjoyed walking the trails each morning, and exploring Door County during the day, having a nice and cozy cabin to retreat to at night. The cabin was the perfect size for our group. I love that there is a bathroom located on each floor. It was easy to access but far enough away from the main stretch. Thanks for an amazing stay!

This was the second time we stayed here over Thanksgiving and it was wonderful. The beauty of the house and the surroundings made it very sereal, idilic and peaceful. We had a great time.

Beautiful area and unfortunately due to weather did not get to do hiking as we planned.
We did enjoy the fireplace both inside and out.
I would recommend updating lighting in the living room for those wanting early morning or late night reading.

The Boyer Cabin is beyond beautiful and perfect location in rural Egg Harbor for everything we like to do. Everything is perfectly appointed (need a ladle for soup in the kitchen) and wonderfully clean. We had a slight plumbing emergency but Becky answered right away and worked to find a plumber to come when we would be there - no interruption to our stay. Our dog Toby enjoyed the yard and the quiet. At his age naps are important and we all got them in during our 10 day stay! Unplugged and Relaxed - exactly what we wanted. Our only drawback was the stairs. We weren’t prepared to haul everything in up 1-2 flights of stairs (loved the King bed w/en-suite) Will pack differently next time or stay in one of their other homes in Door. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with us!

Our stay at this cabin was wonderful! We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the property and the walking path at the Land Trust right across the road. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was a great location for us to explore the peninsula!

The first comment I made was that this cabin was even better (bigger, prettier, great layout) than the photos depict. We enjoyed a fabulous week. I would say plan ahead to have your warm blooded guests stay in the lowest level (queen bed) as it does stay pretty chilly, but is manageable and there is plenty of other awesome space to hang out. Beautiful grounds, great long covered deck to chill out on, cozy and spacious family room opening to large dining table, huge primary suite, etc. And dog friendly to boot, which is a must for us. We did lots of exploring around Door County, and it was the perfect space to come back to.

The Boyer Log Cabin was perfect for our stay in Door County. The location is wonderful. Just a few minutes to downtown Egg Harbor -- but it feels like a million miles away. Gorgeous cabin and property. Immaculately clean, well-stocked and a perfect place to return after a busy day of DC activities. I would highly recommend this property!

The Boyer log home is a comfortable, well appointed, spacious place to stay in Door County. The home is very clean and well maintained. Due to the smoky conditions the week we were here, we spent a lot of time indoors and it was so nice to be at such a wonderful property.

I drove up from Florida and wanted a Door County getaway with my Wisconsin family. This beautiful 3 bedroom/3 bathroom log cabin was perfect. Each of my 4 siblings and spouses spent two nights with me, which allowed more quality time than if everyone came at once as I had initially planned. The hosts were very responsive and we enjoyed walking the trails with my mini Aussie. We will be back :)

Stayed here with my parents-in-law, wife, and our dog for a long weekend in February. The property has some trails in the back that are perfect for morning dog walks. The fireplace was great to sit beside and watch it snow. Everything was clean and picked up when we got there. Really nice place; hoping to have a chance to stay there again.

We were looking for a new family experience to make some new family holiday traditions. We had a wonderful time crossing country skiing, sledding with our toddler, hiking, ect… snowed the first few days we were up there and really helped it feel like the holidays. Daytime fun out in the snow and cozy evenings inside by the fireplace. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This was our third visit to the Boyer Log Cabin. Our long weekend spent there was a chance for our family to all gather in one lovely place and just spend quality time together. We cook, play games and enjoy being able to bring our dog who probably loves the walks in the beautiful woods more than the humans do. In the late fall this is just a great place to hunker down with our grown kids and regroup. What could be better than that?

A wonderful stay was had by all. Reminded us and our children of our lake log home we had built and then eventually sold. They grew up in this home so it was a treat to stay in a home that was similar. The amenities were great. Nice, clean dishes, utensils, pots, etc. In the past years coming for Fall fest, we’ve found several places that had cheap, dirty kitchenware. (Oven could’ve been clean though) I own a janitorial cleaning business, so I’m very picky and have high expectations.

The cabin was very nice. There were three floors and three baths. Inside clean and bathrooms updated. Given we stayed in early fall, the ac and heat were not needed. As a result, the lower level had a musty smell felt damp. Running the ac or heat would have been the solution but was not needed on the two upper floors. A dehumidifier is another consideration for lower level in summer months.

Away from the crowds in town yet easy to travel to all the great sites, restaurants and parks. One of the best equipped kitchens of all the VBROs we have stayed at. Enjoyed the preserve right across the road as well as the trails on the property. Spent down time on the porch with our dog.

The weather was gorgeous and we loved having the windows open so we could hear the birds during the day and the crickets at night. We enjoyed exploring the property and the land trust nearby.

The home has a warm and welcoming vibe with amenities that appeal to all. We enjoyed the fire pit and cooked numerous family meals in the well-stocked (tools and utensils) kitchen!and played games at the family table. We felt at home in Door County and would not change a thing about our stay!

Beautiful cabin, great location
We loved our time at the cabin. The property is well cared for, very clean as well. The owner was great to communicate with and very helpful when I had questions.
Our dog loved the woods and all the squirrels to chase, the beds were very comfortable. We spent plenty of time on the covered back porch. We don’t have cable at home so the Dish Network was a big treat.
We hope to stay here again next summer!
