About this condo rental
Nestled in Carrabassett Valley, this charming condo for $196 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Ski in or dine out, there is no need to drive once you arrive. This ski in location is a great spot directly adjacent to the Stubs trail and steps away to ski down to the Wiffletree lift. Spring and summer offer amazing hiking, biking, golf, fishing, and exploring the western Maine mountains. This recently renovated home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and great views of the mountain. You are close enough to walk to the shops, restaurants, bars, etc. This home offers a cozy and sunny living room to relax in front of a fire. The entire condo has all-new flooring with new plush carpeting and a recently renovated kitchen well appointed with all new cabinets, stainless steel appliances including a gas stove and granite counters. There is also a gas grill on the deck to compliment your amazing meals. Just off the living room there is a bedroom with twin beds and its own bathroom with shower. Upstairs you'll find two bedrooms, 1 with a king bed and 1 with 2 twins along with a full bathroom. All the beds have newer mattresses and pillows. There is cable TV and Wi-Fi for complete connectivity with a Bluetooth audio stereo system. Access to X-country ski and snowshoe trails, mountain bike and hiking trails are just out the door. Stop by the Sugartree Health & Fitness or Anti-Gravity Centers. The winter season offers free shuttle service that will pick you up and take you just about anywhere on the mountain you want to go. We really enjoyed our stay at Rich’s condo. It’s a great size, modern, lots of beds, very clean and has everything you need. The location is great for skiing access, as well as hopping around to the different restaurants and bars in the area. We didn’t have to drive at all once we arrived, just relied on walking and the Sugarloaf Explorer.
Rich was an excellent host. He made sure we had everything we needed and was great at communicating. Also had some very nice gifts upon arrival!
Highly recommend and would certainly stay again.

This townhouse was everything we needed for our February ski vacation. The townhouse was clean, had the amenities we needed, the kitchen was well stocked and the welcome gift upon arrival was so kind and thoughtful. The kids were thrilled to have their own rooms. We were happy that the walk to ski down to the Whiffletree lift was short. The ski-in was perfect to come home mid-day for lunch. All in all, it was a great vacation.

The condo is an easy walk (even in ski boots) to the Buckboard trail to ski down to the lift. The condo has everything we needed for cooking dinners, great selection of games, gas fireplace to warm ski boots, quality linens. Rich was very helpful and flexible accommodating some special requests and surprised us with a lovely welcome gift!

Rich's house was wonderful! Clean and just a short walk to the trails. Ski back was super easy. Rich contacted me with helpful information for our stay, restaurants and things to do in the area before we even got to his house. We would definitely stay again.

This condo was absolutely perfect for 4 adults and 2 children. The kitchen was well stocked with both pots and pans, spices, condiments. Everything was extremely clean and very comfortable. Across the street there’s access to the mountain. So convenient.

Most well stocked place I've rented (and I've rented a few with out sport travel)! REAL kitchen knives, spices, oil, coffee, condiments, etc. in kitchen and plenty of other items (paper towel, tp, towels, etc.). Made the trip with my son for a mountain bike race very enjoyable as we like to bring/cook our own meals. Excellent communication with host (where to grocery shop, things to do, etc.). I would highly recommend this place and will come back should there be another race here.

Awesome place to stay
We really enjoyed our time for the 4th of July! It was a great spot to relax and spend time outdoors! The unit is stocked extremely well with high end appliances and all the comforts of home! Super clean and conveniently located.

Absolutely stellar property
Possible the best VRBO experience yet--super clean, amazingly well stocked kitchen, down to the spices and meat thermometer. Gorgeous interior design. Very good access to slopes; we were on bikes so can't quite comment on ski-in or ski-out, but I'm guessing with snow on the ground you pretty much can. Communication with Rich was excellent. Thanks again.

Sugarloaf getaway
Lovely ski in ski out condominium. Home had everything you needed for a relaxing winter getaway. Beautiful views of the mountain! Rich the host was so easy to work with and always available to answer any questions we had. Highly recommend this property!

Best spot on the mountain
This was such a fantastic property- tucked away on the east side of the mountain with very short walk to lift and trails just out the door to ski home on. Xc trails also very accessible. The place was quite comfortable, extremely clean, and Rich was a great host. We rent all the time up here and Rich’s spot was our favorite yet!

The property was great. We loved our stay. The kitchen had everything you need and great appliances. Bathrooms and flooring are all updated. A trail runs right behind the condo for ski in, and you just zip across the street for ski out. Great gas burning fireplace. Rich was a great host!

Great spot close to the mountain with easy access to trails. Home has plenty of room for a family of 4 or 6 and storage for skis and boots at the entry way. Looking forward to coming back.

The unit is very nice and comfortable for a family, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook all meals. I'm sure the place is a lot more exciting during ski season.

Great place to stay
Rich was great to work with. He is highly responsive and the place was perfect for what we needed. The ski in was lovely and it was just a short walk to ski out - there was enough snow that we got to ski over to most of it through the parking lot. The unit has all new flooring and it was a great place for us.

Great week at sugarloaf
Loved the location. We were concerned about COVID and location was great to come home for lunch. Mountain staff were enforcing mask policies to keep everyone safe. Condo was clean and worked well for us (only 4 of us but could’ve fit 6 easily). Kitchen was well stocked. We cooked all week! Would definitely come back!

The condo is perfectly situated for easy access to skiing, and just a short walk to the village for restaurants and shopping. The condo is very attractive and comfortable. Rich is a wonderful host who communicated very well before, during, and after our stay.

We had a great stay during the XMAS/New Year holiday. This townhouse has it all....Easy ski in (trail behind townhouse) and ski out (short walk across the street) if the conditions are favorable.
Rich, owner, is very well organized and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen has it all, if you plan on cooking in (we did 5 of the 7 days). All paper products are supplied. Extra pillows and blankets in all bedrooms and living room. Everything was in great working order.
Rich was very informative about places to eat, things to do around the area, etc.
Don't hesitate to rent this property. You will NOT be disappointed.
