We had a wonderful stay at AD 1768 Boutique Hotel. The palazzo is absolutely beautiful and has been meticulously restored by its wonderful owner, preserving its historic character while making it elegant and comfortable.
We stayed in the beautiful Nicola room, which overlooks Piazza Duomo—a truly magical view and an unforgettable setting. The room itself was gorgeous, and the entire palazzo is stunning.
The staff deserves a special mention. Everyone was exceptionally warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, and they made us feel completely at home. Breakfast was wonderful, and the location could not be better, right in the heart of enchanting Ragusa Ibla.
Ragusa was one of the most enchanting places we visited in Sicily, and staying at AD 1768 made the experience even more special. A truly beautiful hotel in a magical setting. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend it.
Everything was perfect

Our whole experience with AD 1768 was exceptional, starting with pre-arrival guidance and calls to ensure we knew exactly how to reach the hotel on Google Maps and, importantly, where to disembark and park in this UNESCO site.
As seasoned travellers (with 16 million flight miles for the four of us), we have seen & experienced quite a bit during our travels, and we have to express our appreciation and admiration for the love and care Josephine puts into the design and decor of her historical hotel and her food (breakfast was simply amazing and way beyond our expectations!).
Even the check-out process was a delight. Josephine even advised on selecting the best route to our next destination - WOW and THANK YOU!!
We wished we could have stayed a few more days!
