Apartment located on 100+ acres in wooded hills & valleys of Black River Country. One room with satellite TV, Wi-Fi, full bath, micro wave, fridge. Perfect for short or longer stays for someone looking for peace & quiet. Hunting is available in the area. Well behaved pets considered. Cozy heated floor - air conditioned in summer. Access available to miles of trails to explore with snow shoeing in the winter, morel hunting in the spring, raspberry & blackberry picking in the summer, & apple picking in the fall. Fifteen minutes to town of Black River Falls which has ATV riding, snowmobiling, casino, golf, fishing, shopping.

The cabin was perfect for our family of 4 and two dogs. We really enjoyed the enclosed porch so our dogs could be out with us and not on leads or leashes. The area is quiet and you will not have cell phone service so it gave us some much needed family time. It does have dish network but service was spotty on that also. This place was very dog friendly which is always a plus for us. We would definitely stay again.
Black River Falls is about a 20 minute drive with nice hiking trails and swimming at Wazee Lake. The dog park is huge and can be found off Old HWY 54 in town. If you rent canoes check river conditions first. The river was up 5 feet and moving fast when we were on it and we didn't have the experience to be on it in those kind of conditions . The rental place didn't even ask about our experience they just took our money. Sand Creek Brewery is highly recommended and kid friendly!

We had a wonderful stay. The manager gave us our choice of apartments and was attentive to our needs. The property is newly constructed and clean. Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us the whole time we were there, but we managed to go on soaking hikes and see lots of wildlife including eagles, deer, turkeys, and fox. One note of caution is that the steps to some of the apartments can get quite treacherous if frosty or wet. One restaurant that we would recommend is the country club (membership not required).
