About this house rental

Nestled in Dewey Beach, this attractive house for $335 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Our little, yellow cottage is the 3rd house from the beach and sits back off the road down a private driveway shared with two other cottages. Up to two of your well-behaved dogs are always welcome with an additional pet fee, and are allowed on the beach before 9:30 am and after 5:30 pm every day in the summer, and all the time off-season. Linens and towels are not provided for this rental, but we can recommend a linen service. This is a quiet cottage suitable for couples and small families. We have zero tolerance for partiers. We are LGBTQ friendly. The minimum rental age is 38. If you are a younger family, please send an inquiry. We rent Friday to Friday in the summer months, with shorter stays available in the fall, winter, and spring. WE DO NOT RENT TO STUDENTS OR GROUPS OF SINGLES.

Really clean, well maintained property a stones throw from the beach. Restaurants and shops were within walking distance, like end of the block to a few blocks away. And almost every place was dog friendly. Cannot wait to go back.

We had a lovely stay. it was clean (except for the older table cloth that was a bit sticky). The kitchen was fairly well equipped - it worked well for two people. Might be a bit limiting for a larger family. The only limitation was rather limited comfortable seating. There was one sofa, but the chairs were straight-backed wicker... but we made it work. And I would suggest bringing your own pillows, along with your sheets. I will say the host was very responsive and check in was very easy

This cottage is very appealing, with an upstairs deck and plenty of parking below, along with the laundry/beach equipment room--which also contains a downstairs bathroom. There are lots of windows and sliders in the main living space, and the two bedrooms are comfortable. The owners were very responsive to our questions. We loved our stay here!

We've been lucky to get this spot three years in a row now, and it's wonderful for our needs -- dog friendly with steps to the beach, and super quiet as it's off the main side streets -- ample parking, and great to have washer/dryer and lots of beach stuff readily available on first level

We had a very nice time for the few days we were there. Although we brought food to cook we didn't do much cooking. There were plenty of pots and pans and utensils to use but we just didn't feel like cooking. The house is located in the middle of everything - beach and restaurants and grocery stores are close by. My only complaint when cooking was the clean up. The dish rack for drying dishes was too small. The dishes had to be dried ASAP, so you could make room for all of them to be washed. The house was clean. There was plenty of storage for food and clothes. The weather was mostly cool so we didn't us any beach gear. At this time of year the beach was not crowded. We actually drove 1/2 a mile or so down route one to fish on the beach. The sea life was prolific. A couple seal pups, dolphins, and a mantis shrimp were seen on the beach or out in the ocean.

My wife, mother-in-law and our two dogs stayed here for four days. Our immediate impression upon entering the house was adorable. It was perfect for us, not too big and not too small, just right. The place was perfectly situated very close to the beach, I mean within 2 minutes walking distance. You can literally hear the waves crash from the outside deck. Valerie the owner was so nice to converse with both on email and phone. I would definitely stay here again. My only tiny complaint is the master bed mattress is a tad too firm for my liking. Other than that, it was the perfect beach getaway.

The location was perfect, and met our needs as a fall family get away for our family of 4 (plus our pup) reuniting for the weekend from 3 different states. The beach is beautiful! The laundry room and extra toilet and sink were an unexpected bonus. The home was comfortable and well appointed. We intend to be back.

Dog-friendly rental in a dog-friendly beach town. This was a perfect spot for my husband, our dog, and me. Morning walks on the beach were beautiful. So many walkable restaurants. This was an ideal fall getaway!

Really fun week!

This beach house was clean and just steps from the beach. It was just perfect for our family of four (2 parents, 2 kids, and yellow lab). There are lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards that are in the storage area/second bathroom under the house. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio and sat outside every night after we walked on the beach. We enjoyed the games that are in a cabinet in the family room. We played a few rousing games of Scrabble that took forever because nobody knew anything! We cooked a lot of meals in the kitchen and it was well equipped with what we needed. We ate twice at Nalu restaurant on the corner. The food is just ok, but the decor and location can't be beat! We hope to be back next year.

So convenient, quiet (off the beaten track), place - two bedrooms just enough for a 'small family', and doggo-friendly. Close to all nice restaurants, with great parking, and wifi and lots of amenities (thanks for the cable options where we can log-in and use our own accounts). We hope to continue to come back in future years! We really enjoy this VRBO!!!!!!

We had a great stay. Location is so close to the beach, which was our primary focus. Loved being able to walk right out the door and to the beach with the dogs. House was really comfortable, had everything we needed. We had to work while we were there and the Wifi was great. Would definitely return!
