Situated in Avalon, this attractive condo for $289 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. *Avalon* Ocean View* Split-level* Penthouse* Just a short walk from the 'boardwalk' and above the rooftops of Santa Catalina's quaint little city of Avalon is 'nestled' this Tri-Level Penthouse Suite--in the Bahia Vista Condos--Breathtaking harbor, city, and hillside views from all rooms and balconies ... constantly a reminder of Santa Catalina's beauty, and the 'state-of-mind' revealed in the 'Island' lifestyle. A complimentary golf cart is included! NOTE:POOL AND SPA ARE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE Yes, this is a vacation, and the 'Island' awaits, Golfing, zip lining, scuba diving, fishing, hiking, para-sailing, miniature golfing, glass-bottom boat rides, dinner cruises, shopping, fine restaurants, and so much more. NOTE: There is a two-night minimum stay for weekends due to the high volume of inquiries. We appreciate your understanding! My group rented both condos. It was perfect for our stay. The views were amazing, the golf carts were a bonus, but you can really walk anywhere on the island from the condo. Kim was an awesome communicator. Would definitely stay again!

Everything was fabulous except description said there was a pool which was under construction. So no pool or jacuzzi.

Beautiful views, clean, stylish and spacious unit with an easy walk to the main boardwalk. We really enjoyed our stay, and felt like we were home. The pool wasn’t working but we didn’t need the pool and we were ok with not having it. The golf cart was a very nice addition, we were able to cruise up the hill for scenic tour. Loved our stay! Thank you

This property is priced very reasonably! Good location, close to everything and property is well stock with the kitchen necessities ! Most importantly this property comes with your own transportation! Golf cart no need to rent !

We had stayed in this property in 2018 experiencing less desirable conditions. Anticipated watching football over holiday weekend only to find no access. Poor internet connection as well. Contacted management and cable company. Unable to resolve problem. Microwave handle broken, grill had not been cleaned, ice machine did not work, etc. and as returning guests did not receive discount. We did enjoy Catalina but very disappointed with vrbo property.

Everything was clean. There was no ac but the fan help a lot. I like how we got our own golf cart and able to use it, had no problem with it. The pool and jacuzzi were close, there was no water :( overall enjoy my stay here.

My wife, nanny, newborn, and I were very comfortable in this beautiful, fairly priced, condo. It had plenty of space, nice bathrooms, and magnificent views. The hike up stairs with luggage was worth it. The host was very responsive and accommodating. She instructed us on how to inquire about early check-in, which worked perfectly. The golf cart was also a major bonus and just a few blocks away. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again.

Amazing View & Nice Layout
Although there were lots of stairs and no AC, this was a well-maintained condo with a great layout and amazing views. The fact that it comes with a golf cart was a huge plus and the owners were easy to communicate with and resolved any minor issues to our satisfaction.

Walking distance to town and beautiful view of the harbor. Beds were very comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen but it looked like it was stocked with all you would need. Disappointed that the pool and spa were not filled with water and not usable.

Only con is that the elevator is in the back of the complex, so i had to lug a stroller up a few stairs before getting to the elevator. The golf cart wouldn't start and we contacted Catalina Yamaha Golf Cart as instructed by Craig and Kim. Mike came out quickly, towed the cart, fixed the problem (ignition wiring) and had the cart parked back in its stall within a couple hours. I highly recommend using the cart; although, the seat belt is still broken as mentioned in a previous review. All things considered, it was a great stay at the Bahia Vista and I would book this location again.

I doubt there is a better location in Avalon! We had a perfect view of the harbor but we were located on a nice quiet street. It was a quick walk to everything! Can’t wait to go back!!!

FANTASTIC OWNERS
The property has one of the best views on the island and the owners are FANTASTIC communicators and honest I might lose the money I paid booking the reservation and within minutes the owners CALLED ME to say if I MIGHT want to cancel which put my mind at ease IMMEDIATELY. SO GLAD WE WENT!!!! We love the owners and the property, I don't want to say more for fear it might be booked up all the time and we can't get back in...LOL

We loved our stay in Catalina! This particular location allowed us to use their golf cart which was one of our favorite activities!
Great space with an amazing view of Avalon! The only hitch for us was the stairs - lots of stairs to get to the condo and then lots of stairs within the condo. - this a bit hard with an eighteen month old who loves going up and down stairs, but who needs constant supervision. But everything else was just perfect! Thank you!

Perfect Home-base for our Family Getaway
Kim Chamberlain and her team have prepared this condo so that guests can feel right at home. The space is ample and luxurious affording everyone in our group their private room. We especially loved family time at dinner as we enjoyed the lovely living room with big screen t.v. and streaming services. My boys truly appreciated having the use of the pool when we came back from our adventures in town. The cart was a great benefit to us as we explored and even took it to Descanso Beach for the day. I highly recommend this condo. The views from the penthouse balconies are impressive and inspiring.

Older property but the remodel was well done. The view is impressive. The condo could be closer but once you get the golf cart that fixes everything. The golf cart is a real bonus. Would definitely stay there again.
