This one-bedroom ground floor unit in a small block of only 5 apartments located directly across the road from Shoal Bay Beach, offers a private balcony with outdoor setting & open plan kitchen & living room. Guests have access to the laundry with free washing machine & coin operated dryer and ironing facilities, communal BBQ & undercover outdoor picnic table.

An idyllic scene awaits in Shoal Bay, where a wide arc of white sand beach is adorned by a heritage lighthouse on one end and the striking Tomaree Head on the other. This small hamlet is a great base for enjoying the natural wonders of Port Stephens, including spotting dolphins in the wild, and embarking on hikes that finish with unforgettable views. The calm crystal clear waters of Shoal Bay are prefect for swimming, kayaking, fishing and stand up paddle boarding. Ride along and explore the scenic foreshore where you will find picnic tables and barbecue facilities, for the active guests you are able to hire Stand Up Paddle boards and Bikes.
At the eastern end of the bay is the magnificent Tomaree National Park where you can explore the paved Historic Fort Tomaree walk around the headland for the reminders of Australia's World War II coastal defense, from there you can enjoy the Tomaree Head summit walk for amazing breathtaking panorama views of Port Stephens and the NSW North Coast, if your lucky you can even spot whales during their migration season. Take the time to enjoy some of the stunning local beaches in the area Shoal Bay Beach, Zenith Beach, Wreck Beach and Box Beach.
Shoal Bay offers a selection of cafes, restaurants and takeaway fish and chips shops, enjoy a meal over looking Shoal Bay Beach at Shoal Bay Country club or explore the tastes of authentic Greek food at Atmos, take the time to sit and enjoy the views of Shoal Bay at Port Stephens Game Fish Club.
Pets are NOT welcome at this property.
The charging of any electric vehicles, electric bicycle, electric scooter, electric skateboard, segway or other like devices (Electric Personal Mobility Devices) or the battery for an Electric Personal Mobility Device is Prohibited in this property.
To ensure the comfort of our guests and neighbours, we do not accept bookings for 'Schoolies' breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow parties of any sort.
A $300 Security Deposit (PRE-Authorisation) IS TO BE Held. The bond will be processed prior to arrival. We only accept Mastercard or Visa.
Kindly note a deposit of 50% AUD of total amount will be charged at time of confirmation. An option of direct deposit is offered.
All guests are required to complete our secure online guest agreement prior to your arrival. As part of this process, guests must provide a valid government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's licence) and complete credit card pre-authorization. Check in is from 3pm and check out is 10am. Payment for the booking warrants you and all guests staying will abide by the Code of Conduct for Short Term Rental Accommodation which can be viewed on our website which will be sent to you in your booking confirmation email. This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence.

Location of the property is excellent. Basic cooking facilities were poor. There was a request to vacuum the floor but this was hard to do due to the state of the machine provided. We were attending a wedding and there was no iron or blow dryer which was disappointing.

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend at Shoal Bay. The apartment is located directly opposite the beach, in a quiet location. A easy walk to local cafes and restaurants.

Across the road from the bay, a short walk to the beach, and two blocks from the main cluster of shops in Shoal Bay. My partner and I were happy with our stay.

I missed the no air-conditioning . Parking on the grass at the back of the property so wet grass in the mornings
