About this house rental
"Any closer and I would be in heaven" is the wooden sign that hangs outside The Beach House. The interiors reflect island life with island style, a mixture of the old and new. Original one-of-a-kind pieces adorn this wonderful beach home. Vaulted ceilings, glass doors that step out onto a fabulous (and enormous) deck, and a view of the most breathtaking pink-sand beach lends itself to the ultimate island getaway. Step off the deck onto the amazing beach and walk into the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.
The Beach House has a beautiful pool with ocean views. The pool can be heated, if desired, for a charge of $350 per week.
The Beach House is located directly on French Leave Beach, a mile-long crescent of pink sand that has been ranked top 20 in the world. It is located on the prestigious Banks Road of Governors Harbour, the premier location on Eleuthera. The town of Governors Harbour, with restaurants, groceries stores, shops, and banks, is only a mile away.
The Beach House has just been totally renovated (work completed in August of 2016). A mixture of modern and rustic beach living is the decor and theme throughout. Concrete counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and a double commercial sink are part of the modern and well equipped kitchen. The dining table built from reclaimed island wood comfortably seats eight with additional seating for four at the kitchen island. The living area with its white couches and hand-crafted island straw mats looks out through a wall of glass onto the deck and French Leave Beach beyond. Relax outside on the beach-view veranda swinging day beds.
The Beach House has three bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have king beds with ocean and beach views. The third bedroom has a king bed which can be converted to two twins (please request in advance) with a tropical garden view.
The house is fully air conditioned and every room has ceiling fans.
The large outdoor deck is the perfect place to watch the sunrise in the morning, sunbathe through the day, or enjoy a relaxing, tranquil afternoon. Equipped dining and lounging spaces and a gas grill, it is the ultimate getaway.
With its vast veranda and direct beachfront location, the Beach House is ideal for hosting weddings and other events. Additional charges may apply for events.
Amenities at The Beach House include air conditioning throughout, wifi, TV with a Firestick (no cable), a washer and dryer, three kayaks, paddle boards and a gas grill.

My wife, two kids and I stayed at this home for a week in June. It was well appointed, had a stocked kitchen and also had all of the things you needed to enjoy a week in paradise. We would stay here again on our next trip to Eleuthera.

What a fantastic experience! The Beach House is a stunning location right on a beautiful stretch of beach, and the hosts are incredibly attentive. The house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, from the gourmet kitchen to the three spacious bedrooms. After seven weeks, we were reluctant to say goodbye!

The Beach House is exactly what my family of six was looking for. The house is beautiful
and felt like home with all of the amenities and comfort. The patio, pool, and beach were incredible. The boy's kayaked several days, snorkeled on the reef, and swam with dolphins! The location on Banks Road offered seclusion, but also convenience. Michele and Matt were wonderful to work with. Thank you for everything! We will be back!! ❤️❤️❤️

Firstly, I would like to begin this review by stating that this was the 2nd time we've worked with Matt and Pam at Eleuthera Vacations. Great folks!!The Beach House is a wonderful place to stay. The full remodel of this home dates back a number of years and it is beginning to show a little wear and tear. But this simply adds charm to an otherwise wonderful place to holiday. The beach is a mere fifty steps from the back deck and you will find a gazebo or cabana on the deck with cushioned benches and over stuffed pillows that offers a welcome respite from the sun but keeps you enveloped in the sounds of the ocean and a beneficiary of the ocean breeze. The home is owned by the madame proprietor of a very fine local restaurant who is a "hands on" manager and is dedicates herself to making certain that one's stay is enjoyable and problem-free. Our only complaint are the bed pillows since we prefer down to foam. But . . . guess what? We've already paid our deposit for a week's rental for 2023 and we will simply bring our own pillows for our 3rd holiday through Eleuthera Vacations in so many years!! Now . . . that tells you a lot about customer satisfaction, yeah?
