About this house rental
3 level townhouse in the ocean block in Atlantic Watergate, North Bethany. Separate efficiency apartment (included) on first level. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, granite countertops, including dishes and glassware for 8, a coffee maker (drip style), blender, and toaster, pots and pans, etc..
Easy walk to nice wide beach. Children's play area and 2 tennis courts are part of Atlantic Watergate community.
Sony flat screen TVs. Bedrooms include a top floor master with king-size bed, two smaller bedrooms on the middle level each with a pair of twin beds, a bedroom on the main level (second floor) with a queen-size bed, and a bedroom (efficiency) of the entry level with a queen-size Murphy bed (very comfortable), and a queen-size sleep sofa. There are three full baths, on the entry level, main level (second floor), and on the middle level, plus an outside shower.

Comfortable house, nice upgrades (especially the bathrooms and kitchen). Wonderful location. Host was very responsive and easy to work with. We had agreat week.

Location is great. Cleanliness/condition of the property was not great. There was a musty smell in the place that is noticeable right when you walk in. Carpets are dirty, dust strings hanging from walls and ceilings, moldy grout in bathrooms and stains/ tearing drywall tap on ceilings. Additionally, the two rooms with two twin beds should really only have one bed in them. There is no room to walk or turn around. When we dropped a pacifier under one, it was hard to get to. Under the beds there were chips, wrappers and other filth. Charcoal grill hadn’t been cleaned of ash in ages. We had to totally empty the thing before we could use it.
Place was locked when we arrived. No key was under the mat and we had to wait for owner to come by. Owner did not answer phone when we called several times at check in. There was supposed to be a key under the mat per check in instructions but none was there. Extremely inconvenient with a 15 month old ready to stretch his legs.
Positives: kitchen was well stocked and all appliances worked very well. Lots of balconies.
