Located in the heart of the Historic Vine Street district of Paso Robles, just a brief walk down the street will expose you to many historic structures from the early days. It is just one block from the scenic downtown of Paso Robles where you can enjoy dining, entertainment and unique shopping boutiques, or just a quiet walk through the park. You can pick up some fresh local farm goods and items from the Farmers Market in the park on Saturday mornings and Tuesday afternoons. This property is a one bedroom/one bath master suite with a walk-in closet and queen-size bed. It has living room with TV and is set up for internet service. There is a nice little kitchen area with new appliances, and a stacked washer & dryer in the apartment. We have supplied it with extra bedding and cooking needs for extended stays. Beautiful and comfortable in an exquisite downtown location. We loved Huston's Attic. It was so close to downtown Paso and an easy drive to all the wineries on our list. We were able to walk to dinner every night after a day of wine tasting. It was clean and had so many supplies - all the paper products you could need, soaps, coffee, etc. There was even a gallon of water that we used for the coffee. The owner was super friendly and met us at the agreed upon time. We would definitely recommend - you will not regret it! Only note is that it is upstairs (thus the name - attic) so there are quite a few stairs and taller individuals may bump their heads on the slanted ceiling. But we had no problems.Check out Il Cortile, the Hatch, and Buono Tavola for dinner. We also enjoyed the experience and drinks at 1122 Cocktail Lounge.

We just stayed in the attic apartment and were so impressed. It was absolutely spotless and we had everything we needed. The location is so convenient, only a few blocks to the action but still quiet. What a find!!

Ok so first off literal blocks to downtown. You’re close enough to walk, far enough to not deal with the traffic or mess or people (aka noise). Also, driving distance is 10 minutes to wineries like Penman Springs, etc. Lyfts were also super easy to catch - my little sister went to dinner with us and then I sent her in a Lyft back to SLO. Lyft was there within a minute.
The place was spotless but SO homey and probably the best stocked vrbo I’ve stayed at. I slept really well and where the bed is, the sun doesn’t get to or the shades were dim enough so it stayed dark to sleep in. The bed is also very comfortable! They have basic cable so our son was able to watch cartoons in the AM and we were able to binge some Lifetime movies in the evening. Doordash also delivered quickly when we got in late on Friday.
Also the backyard is so well kept. We had breakfast at the small table while our son ran around in the yard.
Ample space - we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Just a fyi, there’s no door to the bedroom but it’s plenty far (likely 15 yards) from the living room where if your child or significant other was asleep in the room they wouldn’t hear anything.
Seriously theee cutest place I’ve stayed at. This place makes me want to visit Paso more just to be hosted here! Hosts were very welcoming and flexible with arrival time - we didn’t have a set time since we were driving in.

The attic is spacious and comfortable. No one lives downstairs, so it's quiet too. It is close to downtown with many restaurant choices only minutes away. It has everything you need plus a few extras. The owner is very accommodating and easy to reach. As long as stairs are not an issue for you, it is a perfect hideaway.

Beautiful home, you get the whole second floor. It’s a lovely attic and is very large. Everything you need, refrigerator, dishes stove. The place is immaculate. The best part is the location, you are two blocks to the city Square filled with restaurants, bars, wine tasting. Loved staying here.

It's rare to find a location that allows you to walk to almost everything you would want to walk to in downtown Paso Robles. Most hotels are not near downtown, and are 2x or 3x the cost. Plus, this was very cute, clean, and practical. The only downside is that it is on the top level of a victorian house, so some of the ceilings are angled to low levels. If you're tall, be careful!

Wonderful property! Very clean, super close to town, and well stocked. My husband and I were able to explore Paso and the surrounding towns and come home and cook at lunch or in the evenings. This will definitely be our new go to when we visit.

Huston’s Attic was absolutely charming and full of historical character! The appartment was equipped with everything we could possibly need for our 2 night stay even with bottled water and coffee supplies! The location could not have been more convenient being a short 5 minute walk into the restaurant/shopping area of Paso! The communication with our host, Bruce, was great and check in and checkout was seamless. Would definitely return and highly recommend for a getaway stay for 2! Many thanks for everything!

This is an amazing property and location! So easy to walk to downtown for all the wine and food you want. We loved our stay and understand why it has 5 stars! We will definitely stay here again.
Couple notes-
if you are tall, this place will be a little difficult as the ceilings in some areas are low, it is the attic of the house that they have turned into a super charming living space.
Walking back to the house at night the streets are dark, that’s not their fault just something to mention. It didn’t bother us but may others.

Bruce made check-in quick and brief, and the checkout process was just as easy! The rental was spotless, and it was even provided with some water and kcups for the Keurig was the cherry on top! Excellent location to walk Into town and have access to all the tasting rooms and lovely restaurants. Also, all the wineries were no more than a 20 min drive away! I would highly recommend this stay!

My wife and I loved staying here! It was walking distance to all of the restaurants, coffee shops, and tasting rooms in downtown Paso yet was still quiet at night. It was also very close to the many wineries in West Paso. I was very impressed with how well-stocked everything was, plenty of the "little things" that you might need and that makes a stay that much better. 10/10 would stay here again!

This a heritage home that has a converted attic with all the amenities. Since the weather tends to be hot the attic is air conditioned and has additional fans. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 3 is a short walk to the downtown and many eateries. Two things are worth mentioning, however. One, you are on the third floor and must walk up "lots" of stairs and two, due to low ceilings in some areas you must watch your head if you are over 6 feet or so. Well worth the effort!

We were in Paso Robles for three nights to celebrate a wedding with friends. Prior to arrival we were able to contact our host with arrival details and he was waiting for us when we arrived. After some details about Huston's Attic, Bruce left us to settle in but made sure to let us know he was just a call or text away should we need anything. The apartment was just as described in the VRBO listing. The location was excellent. It was an easy walk to the downtown area of Paso Robles with shops, restaurants and parks. Sidewalks were wide and walkable. The inside of Huston's Attic was clean and updated. The bed was comfortable as was the couch. There were plenty of extra pillows, blankets and towels provided. Closet space was more than adequate for the two of us. The kitchen and dining area was open to the living area. I enjoyed sitting at the table overlooking the street and watching the city wake up. When it was time to leave, it was easy to reach Bruce and let him know. We did not need to reach him during our stay. He quickly responded to my text indicating our departure. I would highly recommend Huston's Attic to anyone staying in Paso Robles or the surrounding area. We were busy with wedding activities so did not get to enjoy all that Paso has to offer. I would love to return! Thank you to our hosts!

The host made booking, checking in, and checking out very easy. The unit is really spacious and the outside area was nice to have available during the stay. We easily walked all around town and driving out of town to wineries was very convenient. Highly recommend!
