Located in Fort Davis, this charming house for $233 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Walk through turquoise gates and you have arrived at the Blue Agave Bungalow, to enjoy private moments completely enclosed behind adobe walls. Have your breakfast and coffee while sitting on the front patio to take in the mountain air. You are enveloped by a landscape of pecan trees, yucca, ocotillo and an amazing blue agave. This most inviting 2 bedroom home features 2 baths – one with a romantic claw foot tub and the other with double walk-in shower. Along with the full kitchen, dining area and backyard patio with grill, you may find it hard to leave this amazing home that is a destination in itself. The Blue Agave Bungalow vacation home in Fort Davis, Texas has 1,300 square feet. The living room looks out onto a private walled courtyard. The dining area is large with pine floors and French doors that open to a second patio. The kitchen has new cabinetry with tile counter tops, a dishwasher and views to a courtyard. The entire property is enclosed by hay bale or stucco walls to provide security for animals, children and privacy for all. Pecan and cottonwood trees shade the yard. No smoking allowed inside the Bungalow. Smoking allowed on porch only.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Blue Agave and like the last 2 times it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Very comfortable cottage that is very well maintained. Really appreciate the owner letting us bring our dogs. Not too many place allow that in Fort Davis. We will return again.
One concern was the lock box that the key was in. We got the key out just fine but we could get the key back in the lock box or reinsert the lock box. So I had to leave the key under the doormat when we departed. We also noticed a few dead roaches every morning. No live ones just dead ones.
These are minor details and would not prevent us from returning. We look forward to our visit next year.

The home was spotless, thoughtfully furnished, and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The front porch, behind the adobe walls with the cool grass and breeze was our and our puppies favorite place to enjoy the evening and the spectacular stars.

My husband and I spent 2 nights in the Blue Agave - it was perfect home away from home while we enjoyed the MacDonald Observatory - dark skies and the Davis Mountains State Park. Everything you need there and in a great location.

We enjoyed our week stay here. The house was perfect for us and our 2 dogs. I enjoyed jogging the neighborhood in the mornings and walking our dogs. The house is close to Fort Davis park which was a plus. We hiked daily in the park and we enjoyed a variety of migrating birds in the area.

The Blue Agave was a wonderful experience. It was beautifully decorated, very clean, well stocked and appointed and very comfortable. Definitely we would stay here again upon returning to Ft. Davis. Thanks to Blue Agave for helping to make our stay so enjoyable.

Good yard for the Dog even had dog bowls. Lots of bathroom amenities AC worked well. Walking distance to Main Street. Clean.
Just an fyi, the bath with the shower is located at the other end of the house. . But, we got used to it and overall, we had a very good experience!

very clean property, quiet location. Convenient for walking to downtown, Stone Market is the best deli around. House is fully equipped, just bring your food. Property "caretakers" are close by and always available by phone and very prompt in taking care of any issues. Have stayed here every year since 2015 and hope to be back in 2022!
