Wake to the smell of salt air mixed with the aroma of pastries and freshly baked bread from the bakery up the street. As you get used to flip-flops and tank-tops being considered formal wear, you'll be conveniently located to enjoy everything Dewey has to offer. Located just a few houses down from the beach - whether you are looking to build sand castles on the beach or use your metal detector to search for buried treasure, shop til you drop, or just want to get your summer groove on (wink, wink/nod, nod), - look no further than 25 Read St. #5. The House: Four bedrooms (2 master suites), 3 1/2 bathrooms, plus outside shower, kitchen, and four decks. Enjoy both Ocean and Bay views from two of the decks and a screened porch on the bottom deck. From the back deck, watch your kids splashing in the community pool, while you sip a margarita and people-watch the scene on Dewey's main street. The multiple decks are perfect for enjoying the amazing sunsets, watching the Fourth of July fireworks, or just relaxing as you drink a cold cocktail (or two or three). If you're lucky, you might even spy Elvis as there have been multiple sightings of The King in recent years. This is one of the few communities in Dewey Beach that offers a large in-ground pool. The Atlantic Ocean is just a few homes away, restaurants right around the corner, and just a block away is Rehoboth Bay (with a bayside sandy beach) where you can kayak, wind surf, and paddleboard amongst wildlife and the wonders of nature. The location couldn’t be beat. Plenty of room for the whole family. The outside decks were wonderful. Check-in was very simple. The kids loved the pool. Stacie was a great host. We’ll be back!

This home was perfect for our two-family beach vacation. It offered plenty of space, large dining table for family meals and games, kitchen with lots of cookware options, comfortable bedrooms, outdoor shower ... I could go on and on! Kids and grown-ups alike enjoyed the pool. Access to everything Dewey - the beach, bay, restaurants, activities, markets - can't be beat.

We love Dewey Beach and Seabreeze Village is a perfect place to stay. The community pool is a bonus when you need a break from the beach. Centrally located to everything downtown Dewey has to offer and a short walk to the beach without crossing the main roads. The Condo unit was perfect for our family. We enjoyed everything about our stay!

We have stayed in other units in the past , but not in the row on Read St. We really enjoyed the convenience of walking right out on the street vs going in and out through the parking lot. The two guest parking passes were awesome. Having the pool is always a bonus. We had a great weather week, hit the beach everyday, with the exception of Thursday, it was way to windy so we didn’t last long. Hit the pool instead. The rental was great. Only things were our electronics, chargers, ect…kept falling out of the outlets. The master bed was super comfy but super squeaky. Our pick of best restaurant was Nala. Rode the trolley to Rehoboth and our most favorite was bike riding at Cape Henlopen. So much fun and it was free. Looking forward to next year!!! Thank you for sharing your house with us!!!

We enjoyed our stay. The property had plenty of room for all of us. It was nice to have space for all of us to be together, but individual bedrooms for privacy also. I loved having all of the bathrooms The keyless entrance was great. The pool was an added bonus and the walk to the beach was very manageable. Our 2 vehicles did not both fit under the covered parking, but we were able to park the other vehicle in one of the guest spots.

We really liked this condo and it sure was conveniently located. Just one long block to the beach and 2 blocks to Rehoboth Bay. Accommodations were fine: beds comfortable, roomy living /dining room, and a well equipped kitchen. And proximity to local restaurants couldn’t be beat. However, I wouldn’t describe it as quiet, as the condo is located to Route 1 Coastal Highway which is extremely busy at all times. I use to come to Dewey as a child when it was a sleepy little berg, but no longer! Sitting out on the deck was noisy - the good news is that with windows/doors closed, the place is quite quiet. And with the great weather, most of our time was spend at the beach anyway.

This property was perfect, clean, up to date furnishings, plenty of space and everything you need inside and out. I have never rented a place with a pantry to hold your foods and the owners provided many supplies like aluminum foil, garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper etc. The pool was wonderful and not crowded, quick easy walk to beach, restaurants, coffee and donuts, or supplies. Very convenient location! With the weather cooperating we all had a very enjoyable week.

We really loved the location- short walk to the beach, the community had a nice sized pool, and the house had everything we needed. Everything was in good working order, and up to date. Nice place and host was ver accommodating. Parking is tight, but there are extra spaces

Good spot. Right in the heart of Dewey. Nice Deck. Modern Appliances. Private parking can only accommodate one large suv or 2 compact vehicles. Would stay here again.

The location could not be beat. On the beach side, it was just down the road to the shore and close enough to head back to the house at lunch time or to use the bathroom. Mama Maria's is within spitting distance, not that there aren't a dozen additional eateries within a 5-minute walk. It also has easy access to the bay AND a community pool, the latter of which is hard to come by in Dewey. The house is nicely-updated as the pictures show. We really appreciated the two separate master suites for the two sets of adults in the house, with a powder room on the main level and a totally separate bathroom upstairs for the kids. This may have been the first rental we've ever had where the fridge is appropriately big enough for multiple families' use for a week! Only two suggestions for the owners: stock a new can-opener (the one in the drawer seemed to be in pieces), and maybe consider updating the door entry system to a keypad vs. lock-box; would just make it easier than having to remember where to we've stashed keys or how to open the lock-box. Thank you for a GREAT vacation.

This was an excellent family accommodation! The house has everything you need to enjoy a beach vacation. Walk a few steps to the beach for sunrise and a few steps to the bay for sunset. Everything you may need is walking distant! The hosts are very hospitable.

Pictures are very accurate. Host was very responsive. Location is perfect with the beach on one side and the sound on the other. Bedrooms are very small but nice. Great gift to welcome us when we got there. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was there at the house that we needed, really enjoyed the welcoming gift.Great location, easy access to everything.Pool very nice and ocean very close. We only used the car once, when we went to Maryland. Highly recommended
