About this house rental
Nestled in Dewey Beach, this lovely house for $330 per night is a great choice for your next break. *Surfside Plaza unit 8* Stay Play Dewey! *Please note*: WE DO NOT provide sheets or towels but do have beach chairs, boogie boards and beach toys available for your use (as well as pack n play & high chair)! There are several local companies that provide sheet and linen rentals and we provide their contact information in our General Information Guide upon booking or upon request. **Please note**: We also do not rent to groups under age of 25 without additional parent sign-off or on an exception basis. Please contact us for exceptions before requesting reservations. There is a pet fee for 1 dog (we do not accept more than 1 dog). No cats or no pit bulls allowed. A wonderful 2-level ocean front townhome located on McKinley Ave in Dewey Beach. Enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sunrise on your open deck. The open-concept main level overlooking the ocean offers a spacious living room, recently renovated kitchen with granite counters and eat-in bar, separate dining area, and a half bath. You can also relax on the screened-in porch directly off of the ocean front master bedroom with a new king bed allowing you to fall asleep comfortably listening to the waves. There is also day-bed in the master that converts to a another king bed. The townhouse has a total of 3 bedrooms with 1 full bath upstairs, a half bath on the main level, and a full private outdoor shower in the laundry room off the back deck. The two additional bedrooms are also located on the 2nd level and are separated by an accordion door with 2 twins on one side and a bunk bed on the other. Note most guest leave the accordian door open for more space as the rooms become fairly tight when the accordian door is closed to create a wall. Unit includes a washer and dryer which is located in an enclosed room on rear deck. There is 1 unit specific parking space at the unit and a Dewey Beach parking tag for 1 car that can be used on any street. The simple design and location of our place is guaranteed to relax and de-stress you from the cares of your other life. There is nothing like the sound and sight of the ocean or a long walk on the beach to remind you life is meant to be simple. Our unit has direct access to the walkway over the dune - there isn't even a need for shoes! For excitement, the bars and restaurants of Dewey are mere steps away or take the Jolly Trolley to Rehoboth shops, restaurants, and the boardwalk. Please note you must bring your own linens and towels. As a courtesy, we have provided beach chairs and beach toys as well as a pack n play and high chair however as these are used by our renters - we can not guarantee their availability or condition upon your arrival. A note from the owner: Our goal is to provide a warm and relaxing getaway at the beach. Please note that the unit is 1000 sq ft and while we do in fact have room to sleep 8 people, its possible depending on your needs that 8 adults would likely feel a bit crowded. We are also located in a family friendly complex which is not conducive to wild parties. Please keep these thoughts in mind when considering our place for your next adventure. Also for unrelated groups over 6 there is an extra charge per person that will be added to your quote. *This is a non-smoking unit and there is a fee for 1 dog (please note we do not allow more than one dog and no cats allowed) *

Fantastic property, Very accessible to beach, The children enjoyed Kite flying on the beach and the ability to run back-and-forth from the beach to the condo, safe beach for the dog to run on. A few minor glitches coordinating light switches and lamps. We hope to stay again.

Great location right on the beach. Very close to Rehoboth. Clean and was great to have the patio door open at night to sleep. First time taking our dog to the beach and she loved it! Will stay longer next time.

Love the location, right at the beach. Can hear the ocean all night, just open the balcony doors up or down. Of course we happen to choose a 4 day weekend that on Friday night and all day Saturday were spent inside because of “Ophelia”. We were aware of that going into it the stay and it’s no fault or disrespect to the owner. We can’t control what the weather does. I would recommend staying here to others for sure. I just have a few tiny things we noticed but nothing that would keep us from staying again….the shower drain needs some attention, it doesn’t drain that fast and the TV situation. With us being older it was difficult to figure out how to use the tv, no local channels at all and totally different than cable. It’s all through You Tube tv and I’m still not sure how the “streaming” thing works. For us it was difficult to use and the tv in the bedroom seem to be set up differently than the living room tv. I would recommend a tv in the other bedroom as well. My mother-in-law sated in that room and she didn’t have a tv which she used having. She was ok with it but would have been nice for her to have her own tv. I know if we would have been able to get out more the tv’s may not have been a thing, it’s just a thought. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your lovely place and hope to return again. And one more thing, Sunday evening being able to set out on the deck and listen to the ocean is the best feeling in the world to me, peaceful!!!! Karen

We loved our stay here! The townhouse was located steps away from the beach. The screened in porch facing the beach was a nice place to relax and unwind. We would absolutely stay here again!

Our family had a great stay over Labor Day weekend. We particularly enjoyed the screened-in balcony on the 2nd floor- being able to leave the door open and listen to the waves was wonderful. The location was also fantastic, walking distance to great food, ice cream, and entertainment. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!

Dan was fantastic to work with and the location of his property was second to none. We loved the ease of having our littles nap inside then pop right back out on the beach. The property itself was accommodating, but there would be a few simple things that would make a big difference (new blackout curtains in the master, curtain rods, replace vent in floor in kitchen, etc.). I think it’s most important to know is that the twin rooms upstairs are only separated by an accordion divider and not actually dry-walled. I felt this was a little misleading but we made due!

For our 4th summer vacation in Dewey we tried this condo. What a great choice! The condo was clean, neat, and perfect for a family. The location was the best part about this rental. You cannot get any closer to the beach which is key when you have little ones who just can’t get enough of the ocean! We really enjoyed the comfortable living room and 2 ocean front decks. We love all that Dewey has to offer and staying here put us in the heart of it all! Thank you! We will be back!

This condo is right on the beach and in a great quiet section of Dewey! Dan was always very responsive when we had a problem (bath leaked through ceiling/ floor). Best I've slept in a LONG time!

Very much met expectations. Great location. No frills place but high quality. Very quaint and perfect for 3-4 people. Would be tight for anything greater especially with 1.5 baths but there are plenty of beds. It was a great week for us. Thank you.

Charming, updated beachfront property with an older, bungalow feel (exposed beams, pine floors). We all enjoyed the view from the second floor balcony, even our dog. We stayed over Mother's Day weekend, so it was probably a little quieter than the summer might be. It was perfect for our family.

We had an amazing last minute beach weekend here. I wish we could come every weekend. The bunk/twin rooms were perfect for the kids. We fell asleep/woke up to the sound of the ocean and sat on the screened in porch so much of the time. There were dogs everywhere on the beach so our dog was in heaven too. Seriously, this place is amazing and has everything you need!

We stayed here with our family and senior dog for a last minute weekend getaway. The house was cozy and perfect for our little family and the location was absolutely perfect. We really enjoyed our stay. The townhouse was as described and had everything we needed for a relaxing, offseason beach getaway with our dog. We absolutely loved the ocean view from the second floor screened porch and spent a lot of time there. You can't get closer to the beach! It's also very close to shops, restaurants, and Rehoboth. We'd definitely stay again.

We just got home after a fantastic week at this TOP-NOTCH Townhouse! Everything about our stay was perfect! The place was clean, comfortable, well-lit, cool, roomy, has a front-row ocean view, the beach entrance was right outside our door……..the list goes on!

Very nice stay. Beach front. Steps to the beach. My daughter is handicapped and the close proximity to the beach was great. Nicely decorated and comfortable. The master bedroom Oceanfront deck was great. Listening to the waves from our bedroom was lovely. We will be back!

Love the beach and this is the spot to stay. It's right there. Watch the sun rise over the ocean each morning. Walking distance to lots of eats and shops. Nice to have extra chairs and boogie boards. Nice spot on deck to stow our bikes.
