About this house rental

Nestled in North Highlands, this lovely house for $239 per night is a great option for your next trip. Spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch-style home, with a large very private yard, sparkling pool (non heated pool and spa), and covered patio. Comfortable living room looks out to the pool and backyard: sofa, loveseat, two swivel recliners, upright piano, 42” HDTV, DishTV satellite service with ROKU. Family room/dining room table seats up to 10. Wifi, AT&T U-Verse 18Mbps Internet. Master king bedroom suite opens to pool; bedrooms two and three each have twin beds (day beds with pop-up trundles) good mattresses. Fully equipped kitchen with counter and 4 bar stools, breakfast table; One regular and one large accessible shower, NO bathtub. RV parking on a side driveway. No smoking anywhere on the premises. Please NO PETS. Neighborhood is a 'hidden gem' of a rural enclave with large oaks, stream, park and community center, not far from a commercial boulevard. Close to freeway access, light rail and bus. 15 min. from downtown, Capitol, Old Sacramento. The house is not toddler-proof: there are many low shelves and cupboards with breakable items and cleaning products, miscellaneous clutter. The entire home is comfortable, old school, not at all trendy. Activities and attractions: * Nearby neighborhood park has picnic areas and tennis courts, full program of activities for kids. * We're just a few blocks from American River College - many theater and music offerings are open to the public. * Horse stables and trails * Close to golf course and driving range * 20 minutes from Fair Oaks, Folsom, Folsom Lake, California State University Sacramento * Downtown Sacramento is a 15-minute drive: State Capitol, Old Sacramento, Railraod Museum, Sutter's Fort * 30 minutes from Davis * 1.5-2 hrs from San Francisco, Napa Valley, Lake Tahoe, Gold Country wineries Owner also has timeshares at Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco, and Lake Tahoe; possible rental might be arranged, with enough advance notice.

This location was so much more than I expected, I loved the home feel and the backyard was breathtaking. Nice quiet neighborhood but you could tell the surrounding people had no problem with us having some fun! If I find myself in Sacrememto again this is where I will be headed!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two months in this comfortable, spacious house. It had everything we needed, including restful beds and two wonderful recliners in the living room, great for reading or watching TV. The bathrooms were perfect, with a walk-in shower for ease of entry. The kitchen is especially well-stocked. It even has a rice cooker and a waffle iron! We especially enjoyed the spacious shaded backyard and the pool, perfect on hot Sacramento summer days. The air conditioning system maintained a comfortable temperature even on the hottest days. For those days when the smoke from Northern California fires made the outdoor air unhealthy, the indoor air quality remained fresh and clean. The neighborhood is semi-rural and we enjoyed daily walks. There are about two dozen wild turkeys that roam the neighborhood and we saw them every day, sometimes in our front yard. It’s also only about a fifteen minute drive to the American River Parkway, another great spot for daily walks. The owner, Tiffany, and the manager, Trudy, were friendly and helpful. They always responded promptly to our questions. We would gladly stay in this house again.

A private little park in the backyard!
A private little park in the backyard!
This was a great escape during SIP! My hubby and I worked from home while my daughter and father relaxed. We all had plenty of space to spread out and the highlight was the backyard. We ate most of our meals on the back patio. We enjoyed the HUGE backyard; we played many games (bocce, ring toss and horse shoes provided)! We also loved to relax on the back swing in the evenings and we spent many hours in the lovely pool. Tiffany and Trudy were so easy to work and communicate with. We would love to come back!
