Nestled in Destin, this lovely condo for $509 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Beautiful and spacious 3 bedroom/3 bath beachfront unit on the 12th floor in the luxurious Silver Shells St. Maarten building. Your newly updated unit features over 2,000 square feet of living space along with 360 square feet of balcony space. As your elevator opens up directly into your unit you will immediately take notice to the beautiful décor and view of this luxury unit. The living room, dining room, and master bedroom have ceiling to floor windows that open up to your own private balcony with spectacular views overlooking pool, white sandy beaches, and breathtaking emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The Master Bedroom features a King bed with a walk-in shower, separate large bathtub, and your own personal views of the Gulf of Mexico. Bedroom 2 features a king bed with attached bathroom and you own personal views of the Gulf of Mexico as well. Bedroom 3 features two twin beds and a separate door that leads to a common elevator. Our unit has the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen, full size washer/dryer in unit. 12 Cup/K-pod Coffee Center Free Highspeed internet. Easy access, keyless lock. 2 Beach chairs and 1 umbrella in the unit for your use. I go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable. Plenty of pillows on each bed along with extra sheets if needed. Plenty of towels are provided. Extra paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning products, laundry detergent are provided. I even provide board games, puzzle and movies. Beach towels are provided. The only thing you need to bring is food and clothes and you are set. Our pontoon boat is rented exclusively to our guests. The boat needs to be reserved at least 24 hours in advance. The boat launches out of The Fort Walton Beach Yacht Basin. Pontoon Boat Silver Shells Resort: Buffering the pristine, natural setting of Henderson Beach State Park, Silver Shells Beach Resort and Spa sprawls across 31 acres with 1100 feet of private beachfront. The creature comforts include the only pool-side cabanas along the Emerald Coast, a beach-side bar and grill, 7500-square-foot lagoon pool, kiddie pool, hot tubs, watersport rentals, and organized beach activities. Placed in the heart of Destin, this beach resort is close to all of the best restaurants, attractions, and shopping in the area. No more than 8 guests can occupy this unit or the association will ask guests to depart. You can set up the beach chairs anywhere on the beach. You can only set up beach chairs, no umbrella, no tents in front of the beach service set up. If you wanted to set up tents or umbrellas you have to do this on the right or left of the beach service which is public beach. The pool will be heated for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's weeks. The pool will be heated for the Spring Break season which should approximately begin on March 12th and end on April 10th. Parking: Only 2 cars per unit are allowed on property, one in the assigned parking area and one in the over flow area. No golf carts, trailers, U-Haul's, jet skis, boats or RVs on property. This is strictly enforced by the security team.

Beautiful location, condo complex right on the beach. Nice, large balcony with a view of the beach, the ocean, and the pool area. Nice to have a private elevator and I've never been in a unit with so many towels. Not lacking there for sure. :)

This property is very nice. Once you learn how to get in the unit its wonderful. The elevator opens to this unit which is so convenient. It has easy access to the pool and beach. Ocean view is beautiful.

Great location and beautiful views, however this condo has a few issues. There is a major moisture problem. The smell of mildew was overwhelming the moment we stepped out of the private elevator. There are two dehumidifiers (one in the eating area and one in the smaller bedroom) that we had to empty several times a day but in no way at all helped with the smell. The furnishings are very dated and uncomfortable. We were in town for a wedding and had several family members who stayed at St. Maarten. Their condos were far better at the same price. The service elevator was out of commission when we arrived which posed an issue with accessing the condo for the first time but the folks at Kim Lang were very responsive and found someone to help us immediately.

We are three elderly couples on a road trip in the SE USA , we stay in Destin, New Orleans, Memphis, Nashville and Panama City Beach. The condo in Silver Shells was a perfect place to stay for our group, the facilities were great, the host was helpful and the surroundings and scenery were fabulous. we highly reccommend this condo.

Overall great stay and would go there again. Grounds are best I've been to with a Ruth's Chris on site, basketball court, tennis court, many pools, gym (plus free classes), spa, bar on the beach...just amazing. Few teething problems to work out like you cannot bring your own tent on the beach and need to rent umbrella on the beach plus chairs at $65 per day. Rented a poolside cabana to go with this which worked well. Small bedroom in the unit has ultra sonic A/C blowing so gets 5 degrees colder than other rooms but don't think much can be done about that. Little dated and don't think much has been upgraded inside this unit. Constructive criticism only but great overall.

We had a great time at the property!!! There was plenty of room for all 5 of us. Amazing view and the balcony. The beds were comfortable. We loved the private elevator - the sarcophagus could go! There is a definite need of better pots and pans - they were very hard to cook in for breakfast. We would in this unit again.

we have been coming to Silver Shells over Labor Day for the past 4 years, and love it! The condo was clean, the communication was great, and the condo was stocked with everything we needed. The only hiccup was the private elevator not working the last two days of the trip, but that was out of the owner's control. We will be back!

My favorite thing about this place is being able to wake up and see the beach straight from my bed. This is my second time staying at this property and I will chose it again. The process of checking in/out is so simple. The property management company checks in on you. They are super quick to respond.
The condo itself is gorgeous. I will say that the master bedroom needs a new mattress. It is very uncomfortable. The condo has ample space for our large party. The views from the balcony are gorgeous. You can sit there and listen to the waves of the beach.
You won’t regret renting this place!

Beautiful condo with the best view! Condo has everything you need and they were so helpful and sweet with super easy check in and check out. The only thing we could say are the mattresses were not very comfy, but other than that it’s a great place to stay!

Nice condo with amazing views of the water. Furniture in living room was old and uncomfortable but we really didn’t spend that much time in the living room anyways so it wasn’t a big deal. Only true complaint was the lack of patio furniture for the balcony. We spent a fair amount of time just relaxing and hanging out on the balcony. Chairs are uncomfortable and not many of them. Luckily we brought our own chairs for the beach and used those on the balcony. Overall a nice place and would stay again

Perfect ocean stay
We were very pleased with the Condo. The view of the water is amazing! We had the best time. Very clean, we had everything we needed for our stay, and the condo is very comfortable. It was nice to have the private elevator open into the condo. We had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation to Destin. The only minor detail for future guests renting would be the master bathroom sink"s drain, however, this is minor considering how much we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely rent this property again when we come back to Destin.

Beautiful view
This condo was centrally located in Destin and we enjoyed amazing views and amenities at the property. We did have an issue with a water leak causing a significant amount of moisture from the tile in one room that I reported. I did feel the condo was in need of updates/renovation however we had a great time with friends for a few days.

Our travel group included a set of grandparents, parents and two children (ages 4 & 2). Overall the property space itself was fantastic - comfortable beds, plenty of room at the tables for us to eat together, necessary kitchen items to eat multiple meals at home and awesome patio furniture. We loved the easy access from the property to the pool and beach. I can’t even begin to express how much we loved the beach - my boys didn’t want to leave and would spend all day there! My only complaint was the lack of safety in the third bedroom that most people would use for children as it houses two single beds. There was no deadbolt which led to easy access to an open outside balcony - sort of like you would find at a motel. There was no way I could leave either of my children sleeping in that room in fear of one them unlocking the door and walking out (and the only way back in was through a code). I am not sure why they would remove the deadbolt? It just seems like a huge security issues to me. The only downfall of our trip was having to give our toddlers the master bedroom.
