Located in Oak Island, this lovely house for $289 per night is a great option for your next break. 3BR/2BA, BR1:1K, BR2:1Q, BR3:2T Day bed/trundle, Den: Q sleeper. Capture the wonder of it all at this beautiful beach home with an amazing creek view and dock. Large, covered front porch, large back deck overlooking creek and marsh, and ground level covered sitting area with swing and creek view! Enjoy fishing, crabbing, or kayaking directly from the property. Great location just a short walk to the beach! Recent renovations including new flooring, Living room furnishings, 5G WIFI, 3 TV's including 4K resolution 55" Smart TV. Master bedroom with walk-in closet and bath. Beautiful marsh views from both guest bedrooms. Open living, dining and kitchen, Central Heat & Air, Washer/Dryer, fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, dishwasher, microwave, enclosed outside hot/cold shower, beach chairs, beach cart, surf fishing rods, crab trap, 2 kayaks, boogie and skim boards, charcoal grill, and more. Only .14 miles to beach and less than 1/2 mile to pier and Island Way restaurant. Linen fees for 3 BR's of $76 and $15 for Q sleeper are NOT included but can be arranged. No Smoking. Pet friendly. Check-In: 4:00PM, Check-Out: 10:00AM. Weekly rentals during peak season are Saturday to Saturday. Monthly rates are available November through February.

Aloha had all the amenities of home. We like to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed. Additionally, the proximity to Southport and other Strand beaches allowed us to explore the coast.

My overall stay was very good because I was with family. The unit is also nicely located close to the beach and was generally clean. However, I was very disappointed in all the missing items which are normally included with a stay. There were no wash cloths/bath towels, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, or soft soap to wash your hands. I elected to bring my own bedding but this was totally unacceptable as we had to immediately go out to buy these items after a 8 hour ride to get there. Whomever is responsible for restocking needs to do much better.

Loved the house and location of the property! My boys had a blast crabbing in the marsh and the walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all. Minor issues with the grill (it needs some attention or maybe replaced?) and the cleaning crew. Fair amount of sand in the master, trash left behind, and some food left in the freezer. Nothing too concerning though. Would definitely rent again if the price is right 😉…And that outdoor shower is the best!!

The house was a perfect size for our two families - 4 adults, 3 kids, and dogs. Loved the marsh side ~ kids fished off the dock, could easily walk the dogs, and was a very quiet street. The house had everything we needed ~ laundry, great kitchen with all the amenities, good bathrooms, and quick access to the beach. We cleaned a bit before unpacking due to housekeeping, but this didn’t take away from the house or the great time we had. Excellent communication from the owner.

Quiet area, convenient to the beach, but home wasn’t clean when we arrived and had difficulty getting prompt attention from Coastal Vacations (property manager.)

Aloha was perfect for our family of six and our dog. Home was clean. Kitchen well stocked, new appliances including washer and dryer. Enjoyed creek in backyard, went fishing and kayaking. Appreciated using beach chairs, chart and bogey boards at the home. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I could not be happier with the location of this house. Literally a five minute walk to the beach and the marsh view was simply stunning! Probably our most favorite Vrbo stay to date. We absolutely want to come back to this charming house!

We had a wonderful time at Oak Island and Aloha house! Very clean, well stocked kitchen, and very comfortable. Will return again. My kids fished and caught crabs, fish and eels. Thanks for letting us stay and sharing your world!

Enjoyed our stay - especially the view of the marsh behind the home with lots of herron and other birds. Appreciate the owner being flexible with my dates. Check-in is through a third party that is friendly and professional. Quick/easy access to beach.

Aloha worked quite well for an end of the year retreat. Nicely laid out inside and outside decks. Great views of marsh from 2 back bedrooms. Furnishings comfortable. Appliances all worked and easy to understand

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. The house is in a great location within a short walk to the scenic walkway over the marsh and a short walk to the beach. Due to the weather, we didn't get to use the kayaks but they were available. The house itself is well laid out and perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed sitting underneath the house when it was raining.

We had a lovely time during our stay. The home is really nice. It had everything we needed. The view was so beautiful, sunrise to sunset.

The house was very clean, but we did kill at least 10 roaches inside the house. The property management company said that they called us three times to let us know that the house was ready, but there was no evidence of that in my cellphone. This wasted a couple of hours. The location is very peaceful and picturesque. The house owner was very responsive to my text messages on VRBO. The amenities listed for use on the property were in poor shape. Some were not usable.

Wonderful house: comfortable beds, large kitchen and kitchen table. Plenty of outdoor seating; full sun or complete shade. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Our son and his family used the beach wagon each day. The marsh views were awe-inspiring, constantly changing. The crabbing off the small dock on the property was a new and exciting experience for all of us. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Just the perfect place for a relaxing family vacation

perfect location just a block from beach access. great evening and morning scenery on the canal. very clean with everything you would need to cook. also has all the beach gear you need. we didn't take advantage of the kayaks but there are two.

Wonderful Quiet Location
We loved the location of this property on the Davis Canal. It was very close to the beach but nice and quiet. Great street to walk our little fur baby and not worry about the grand kids playing around outside. We viewed some of the most awesome sunsets sitting on the back deck. Breathtaking! The location just couldn't be beat. The house was well stocked and comfortable for our family and we were very grateful it welcomed our family dog. She loved it as well. The property management team was very helpful and pleasant to deal with and the owner was very quick to respond to any questions I had. We def enjoyed this house and would recommend.

This house was perfect for a quiet getaway off season. When I asked a question of John he responded quickly and volunteered to bring kayaks more appropriate for the marsh behind the house. This was very generous! We appreciated this and the beach chairs. The weather cooperated up to the last day and we consider ourselves very lucky to have that. It’s a lovely place.
