Sintra is lovely, but not this house in the winter.

The location was great and it’s a nice quirky little house, which I’m sure would be great in the summer, but not in the winter.

The whole house was totally damp sadly. The weather has been awful for weeks and the house probably hasn’t been occupied for a while. As a result, everything was damp, including towels and toilet paper with damp marks on the ceilings and walls. So we stayed only one night having booked for 7, and got moved by the agents to elsewhere.

Easy check-in. Good area. Spacious rooms.

Couple of things were broken and the communication between coming and fix the issues were not the best. The doors dont close properly so some lights from outside comes in.

Quiet and centrally located near the train station

We spent two nights in the Wooden House and it was a pleasant experience. The apartment is located very close to the train station giving you easy access to the Sintra historical center. We found a parking spot 10 mins away from it and we basically reached all the points of interest by foot. The apartment was clean and spacious and after entering from the street it was far enough from the road making it very quiet. The bed was also comfortable! The kitchen has everything you need and we prepared there our own food. The communication with the host was very easy and the self check in went pretty smoothly. I would definitely recommend it as a valid option if you visit Sintra.
