Our host was fantastic. He welcomed us warmly, gave us a welcome kit (cookies, etc) and even put a pint of milk in the fridge for us which we appreciated since the nearest convenience store is about 15 minutes away. He even gave us some history of Scotland and lots of recommendations of things to see and do, and made a reservation for us at the lovely Indian restaurant a few steps away. The place was as described - a lovely log cabin in a quiet area, with a nicely equipped kitchen.
The wifi was very poor. We got a very weak signal on one end of the couch and no signal anywhere else in the cabin. It made it difficult for us to plan our daily activities.
