Situated in Portland, this charming house for $170 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Separate house with 2 bedrooms, one bath, close to restaurants and bars. In quiet Woodstock Neighborhood. Lovely garden for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Mt Hood and Hood River less than an hour away. Pacific coast 90 minutes west. WiFi, cable and air conditioning. Fully equipped kitchen and gas grill available. As a former experienced bed & breakfast owner, I have now been enjoying my role as a VRBO host for the last 7 years. I have excellent reviews and super host status. Cleanliness is of utmost importance to me. I look forward to hosting you! Sorry no pets. Allergy free home. Minimum age of 21 to rent this home. My family stayed here for a week, we LOVED this place, a true hidden gem! Besides the location being 15min drive from everywhere we wanted to go, the place was perfect for my family (grandparent, spouse, toddler).
Mary Beth thought of everything one would need in a home away from home. Nightlights, laundry detergents, lots of towels, large dressers and closets, reusable water bottles, water filters and even mini candy bars. The place isn't large but feels cozy and just right since most of our stay we were exploring Portland for the first time.
We rented a car and had no issue parking in front of the house everyday. The street isn't busy and the neighborhood seems safe and revitalizing with newer constructions.
There was even a guest book that showed we weren't the only family that really appreciated this beautiful home for more than 10 yrs! And we know this won't be the last time we come back to visit.

This was an ideal property for me and my aged father, who is 89 and quite frail. The rooms were comfortable and cozy, kitchen well-equipped, good lighting and plentiful furniture to sit on in the LR. We entertained our young great-granddaughters there with their mother for a couple of hours, as well.

This property is great and we will hopefully book it for future trips. It was clean, nicely furnished, and well stocked with thoughtful amenities, even hair conditioner and spices. The location was great, close to family. We especially loved the flowers out front. We saw lots of butterflies and a hummingbird in them, and bees. Loved the sea holly! Covered with bees. We need the bees.

We had the most wonderful time ever. Truly a gracious host. Beautiful home, gardens and flowers. The patio lights, flowers, decorations were beautiful. We enjoyed everything about the home, gardens and lovely patio. It really was one of the most relaxing and wonderful times that I have ever had! Thank you very much to MaryBeth. Everyone also enjoyed the candy jar. Thank you for a stress free, relaxing time with family. I cannot wait until I next trip.

Mary Beth is a wonderful host of a home with a great location. We came to explore PSU and UO. The house was perfect for the 3 of us. Everything is immaculate, the beds are comfy and the home is quiet. The gardens are gorgeous and the outside sitting area is lovely like the rest of the home. Highly recommend!

I have stayed in many vacation rentals and have learned if there is something you need, even toilet paper bring it! Not at this home! Mary Beth is the best host ever!!! Absolutely everything from a fully stocked kitchen, all bathroom supplies including shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer. We were hosting a baby shower at a venue on 23rd and had a banner to hang that had deep creases. Needed to iron. Of Course Mary Beth had an iron and ironing board! The home is cozy, welcoming, and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and assessable to everything you need. Downtown Portland is just 15 minutes away, and Woodstock is one of my favorite places in Portland. An exceptional stay and Mary Beth is the perfect host!

Homey house in pleasant residential neighborhood
The house is cute, without being cutesy, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is functional (not always true in a vacation rental), there's a really nice back patio where you can eat if the weather is nice enough, and there's an air conditioner in the living room in case of very hot weather. The front garden is gorgeous with lots of flowers at this time of year! The host is kind and responsive, and we had a lovely stay.
It is a little bit far out from the city center, but this would not be a problem at all if you have a car, which we didn't. Even so, we were able to take the bus to various destinations around town, and there were restaurants in the area.

Comfortable and homey.
This was a great location for us. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful private patio, and nice gardens, yet close to the places you may want to visit. We came for my son's wedding and found it to be a perfect place to retreat to. We had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds are very comfortable. Nice fans and air conditioning. The bathroom was clean. Would love to stay here again. Mary Beth was a super hostess and very responsive.

Great weekend stay
We have been down house hunting on 4 different trips and this was our favorite place we have stayed. The house was comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed and Mary Beth was a great communicator and host. We'd definitely stay here again.

The property is well set up and comfortable. Black out curtains would be very welcome as an improvement because we were on a different time zone. Other than that we found everything we needed. Large coffee cups were very welcome!

Great Spot
Mary Beth’s is a very clean and comfortable house. It is well stocked with anything you might need. It’s convenient to Toast (great breakfast) and Nayar Tacqueria (delicious lunch on Foster) as well as the Foster food carts and to Bread and Roses organic market. Woodstock shops and restaurants are a bit farther but still walkable. We really enjoyed this house and will be back!

An immaculate home with lovely gardens. All the conveniences of home have been carefully considered and included. Our check in and check out was seamless and communications with the property owner was too. I would definitely stay here again.

We found everything we needed there and even some things we didn’t. The house was fully stocked with soaps, bedding, linens, and kitchen supplies. We plan to stay there every time we visit Portland.

Charming cottage. Spotlessly clean, well supplied (two types of coffee even), lovely, lovely garden. Mary Beth was terrific. It was perfect set up for us. Hoping to return sooner rather than later.

From communication with Mary Beth and our stay everything was wonderful. Easy access to restaurants. We did a lot of walking and for us the location was perfect. The garden outback is really beautiful and house and grounds well taken care of. She takes much care to make sure your stay is the best. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Ideal place to stay in south-eastern part of Portland, OR
The first impression on entering the property tells it all: Very well-appointed and completely equipped home that is sparklingly clean. Tasteful decor, quality appliances that all work, comfortable beds, etc. Even air conditioning. Easy parking on very quiet street.
It's hard to find something negative, such as it's a long walk to stores, restaurants and businesses, and the internet connection may not be secure (though it does require a password).
We met the owner, and though we did not need anything extra, it was clear that she would have gladly accommodated us.
Bottom line: we'll be back.

Cute and Clean
My son just moved to Portland and I plan to visit him as often as possible. I hope to be able to stay at this property whenever I can. The house was extremely clean and so cute! It was almost like being home. And the coffee available for the morning was perfect!

Cute cottage in Woodstock neighborhood
We stayed in this cottage three nights and found it to be confortable and charming. It was clear that Mary Beth, the owner, had put both care and thought into the interior. And, the flowers in the yard were stunning. Beds and pillows were comfortable, too.

Super nice, private accommodations
Well appointed with everything we needed for a weekend getaway. It even came with coffe and creamer so we didn’t have to grocery shop! The owner was immediately available to instruct me on how to lock up since I had never used the type of push button entry lock. We were very comfortable! I will definitely try her place again in the spring or summer to see her gardens.
