About this apartment rental
'Tamara 1' apartment is in a prime location, on the fourth floor of the Louis Vuitton building, 2 avenue de Suede in Nice, with a breathtaking view over the Albert Premiere Gardens onto the Mediterranean sea, 50 meters away.
This elegant Art Deco one bedroom flat (90 square meters) comes totally renovated) with a vast marble floor. Tastefully furnished, it has five double glazed french windows leading to a balcony that surrounds the entire flat. It has a generous entrance hall, one bedroom with a 1,60 cm bed, a chest of drawers and a large wardrobe, a brand-new, fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, a guest toilet and a large living/dining room. Each room gives on the terrace. The flat is fully air conditioned.
If you are more than one couple traveling, it is possible to rent, on top of this, the adjacent Tamara 2 flat. It bears the same features, although it is a bit smaller (60 square meters) with a slightly less spectacular view.
Both flats are located in the middle of what locals refer to as "le carré d'or", the golden square. Here you will find the chic shopping areas, restaurants and cafés. The fashionable bars, clubs and casinos are all within a short walk. Food and drink are easy to come by in the nearby groceries/wine stores. Within a five minute walk, you will reach the old town with its narrow, shady pedestrian streets and its animated 'Cours Salaya', a bustling flower/ fruit/vegetable/fleamarket place.
From the balcony at night you can admire the sunset and the wonderful Chateau waterfall above the old town.

The condo was perfectly located. Our host showed up 1/2 hour late but he did show us around the condo. We found the condo tidy. There were lots of dishes and the appliances for us to use. The decor was pleasant. And the view from the balcony was fantastic. Little things like the garbage can lid and cupboard doors were dirty. Didn’t take much to clean it up but housekeeping quality should be checked.The biggest issue we encountered was the shower. The plumbing was clogged and very slow draining, the host did mention it in passing while he showed us the property, but the shower did flood on us twice during our stay.

This is a beautiful view apartment in the heart of Nice. The 4th floor view of the Mediterranean Sea provides a variety of things to see from sunrise to sunset. I highly recommend this VRBO.

This is a wonderful property. Really enjoyed all the French doors that provided beautiful views of the ocean and area. It was well equipped. Would definitely stay here again.

Kitchen needed updating e.g. fridge chiller cabinet was full of water as fridge was frosted up and a number of pots and pans etc had not been cleaned (we now understand that vendors will be updating kitchen in the off season?). Shower was prone to drain blockage and overflowing. Overall we did enjoy the apartment and it has great views/location but given the premium rental charge we would have expected a more upmarket environment. The property would benefit from a deep clean, there was a significant cleaning charge (also paid by previous occupants) it was a bit disapointing that this was not reflected in the overall presentation of the property.
