About this house rental
The Area:
We are found in the heart of Minnis Bay, the quintessential seaside village in Kent. Mae’s Lodge is a stone throw away from the beach. The blue flag Minnis Bay beach is popular because of its breathtaking sunsets and pet-friendly walks. 20 minutes away from us is the historic Canterbury which is well known for its Cathedral which was built in 597 A.D and its Ancient Walls which were originally built by the Romans. We are 4 miles away from the world famous Margate, home to the world’s oldest Theme Park. England’s smallest town, Fordwich, which has a population of approximately 400 people is 15 miles away. Simply put, there is certainly a variety of things to do in the area.
The Holiday Home:
We are a luxurious, intimate, self-catering holiday home that is close to all amenities. At Mae’s Lodge we offer you elegant designer bedrooms with comfortable beds, lots of pillows, linen of the finest quality and the softest and fluffiest towels because you deserve the best. Our modern kitchen is equipped to handle all your needs, whether you are simply microwaving leftover pizza, or getting in touch with your inner Gordon Ramsay and cooking up a storm, we have you covered! You can unwind in the living area, watch some TV or catch up on the news, or you can soak in some sunlight in our conservatory.
We have free WiFi because we don’t want you don’t miss an episode of your favourite shows, or that important email from work. We have bicycle storage facilities for all the cycling enthusiasts. Mae’s Lodge comes with 3 off street parking bays.

Owner was late to inform us of key (Friday evening)But the bungalow was lovely with excellent furnishings and fittings. Railway at end of garden was not a problem, trains on occasion and but could not be heard from inside. Some windows could do with a clean. Two minutes from long sandy beach by car with lots of parking and cafes.Lovely holiday, would go again.

Mae’s property is perfectly located for the beach, local shops and restaurants/cafes. Check-in was easy and everything we needed was there along with some nice extras such as biscuits, tea and coffee. We had a great time. Thanks Mae

Smart bungalow in a quiet neighbourhood. A child friendly garden and a short walk to the beach. Helpful owners. The downside is that the conservatory at the back of the house means no windows in 2 bedrooms. It is advertised as sleeping 8 but this would definitely be a squeeze!
