I absolutely loved this hotel! Our room was great. The restaurant where we had breakfast every morning and dinners most nights was delicious, and had big sunny windows overlooking great views, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We also really liked the town and its location. It was central to the hikes we wanted to do.

If I’m forced to say something that I didn’t like it was my typical complaint about British bathrooms - the showers are not built to keep the water inside. The floor will be wet no matter what you do. I had to mop up the floor with a towel after I showered so I didn’t get wet socks whenever I went in again. This has happened in almost every British bathroom I’ve been in, so I think it just has to be accepted.

Location is excellent . Property is decorated to a high standard and the greeting from the reception staff was welcoming .

For older people or those with heavy cases if you are situated on the top floor the absence of a lift is a bit of a disadvantage
