Exceeded expectations. Staff super helpful and friendly. Station view was worth it - no issues with street noise from the 4th floor. Excellent location for both train stations and exploring the centre of Lille. Clean, decor fresh and quirky. Air con very welcome in this 100 degree heat!
Very slight whiff of drains in the evenings but that might just be the heat and this time of year.

Great cosy room, nice bathroom and shower, very comfortable bed. Also very quiet although right by station. Very friendly staff.

I chose the hotel for its sustainability certification and location across from the train station (which is excellent). The bed was quite comfortable, and the individual reading lights beside the bed were actually quite ingenious. Staff was uniformly cheerful and helpful. I liked the modern renovation and the style of the breakfast/common room.
It's good the bed was comfortable, because it took up almost all the space in my "cosy" room; this size room wouldn't work for more than one person. I was also disappointed to find an empty soap dispenser in the shower and no drinking glasses anywhere in the room. The Rosa's reliance on QR codes (for entering the hotel and my room) caused several issues. First, the link for retrieving my QR code refused to work; I was able to get in using a buzzer at the door, but a delayed train got me in much later than planned, and I couldn't have gotten in once the staff had left the front desk at 9pm). The code reader for my room also proved finicky; the hotel should provide guidance on how to make it work.
