Beautiful location, the views were stunning, it was so peaceful and quiet. The room was large and comfortable, great shower and bath, good storage opportunities Service was excellent The breakfast was unbelievable!

El desayuno muy rico, muy completo con vista al lago y la alberca estaba calientita. Disfrutamos mucho ese espacio. Además el que hubiera un calentador de agua caliente lo disfrute mucho porque me la pasé tomando té y el encendido de la chimenea en la noche, me encantó.

This place is incredible. It was so tranquil, and shockingly beautiful. Every time I looked out the window of my room I had to do a double take. The beautiful grounds are filled with trees, birds, and flowers, and the view over the lake with the inhabited islands and the volcano looming over all is just lovely. The service is great, as is the food and the breakfast. I stayed in the Reina Ireri suite. The bathroom alone is worth the rate. Also 300 meters from the hotel there is a dock with boats so you can visit the islands.

update, I came back here after my trip to the beach in Guerrero, and the concierge Jesús did not log my reservation, so I did not get the room I reserved. Instead I got a lateral room with a view of the pool. I had arranged with Jesús that I would be arriving a bit earlier than the 3pm check in, and he was totally cool with it. When I arrived Jesús was not there, they did not have my reservation, and they were pissed off at me coming before 3 pm. The room was okay but everything was a meh compared to the last visit. Then, I ordered dinner for my room, and not only did Rafael not take the order, I ordered again at 7 for a 730 dinner and now it is 8pm and he just showed up after I went downstairs and complained. + long and short my first trip here was magical and my second was kind of crappy.
