Location was very convenient with acceptable road noise (I had the room closest to the street and it wasn't bad at all overnight). Window heat/AC was brand new and more than adequate for the room. Shower very recently renovated. Very thick walls; I could hear the people next door but not at an unacceptable level. Furniture was in very rough shape but the room WAS very clean.
Room could have seriously used a coat of paint. Exposed wiring and outlets hanging out of the wall. Bed was old, linens had cigarette burns (they were clean, but they had holes), lousy pillows. Parking lot was a little small. Only one towel. Front desk was not friendly. Hotel is obviously a stopover for transients; while I had no problems and the other quests were reasonably quiet, there's no doubt that this is the kind of place that will attract a bad crowd at times.
