The "Hoi Toider" is located one block away from the closest marina to Cape Lookout (Cape Point, $15 launch fee). Free Public Access ramps 2 miles away at the Harkers Island Bridge. This clean home comfortably sleeps 7. Includes a full kitchen, laundry, and 2 full baths. Enjoy lounging on the huge screened porches on the front and back of the home (perfect for kids camp-outs). Large, well-lit covered wash down area in back, big enough for two boats. Huge yard with plenty of parking. Harkers Island is supported by 3 restaurants and multiple grocery and convenience stores. For the vacationer, this is a great place to bring your bikes or enjoy quiet walks. For the boater, this is paradise with quick access to Cape Lookout, Beaufort, and Morehead City. This rental is just right. Very homey, well stocked, room to spread out, and great porches. This was our second stay and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. Great location on the island.

Property was clean and well stocked with the items described, sheets, towels every thing needed. Super place to store and wash down boat. Weather only permitted getting on the water with boat once but it was great to have a place to flush motor and wash down boat. Owner was great in showing me a nice place to go with the boat for beach time. Very quiet location to sit on back porch and drink coffee early in the morning. Sunsets at the Core Sound museum were out of this world. Will be back.

This was our second summer staying at this house and we loved it just as much as the first time. It feels like home to us. Chris was easy to get ahold of and checked on us periodically through the week. We will definitely be back again and again.

It was another amazing trip at the Hoi Toider! This is one of our family’s absolute favorite places to stay and we’ve stayed multiple times. We already have a winter trip booked there and getting ready to book our next summer trip there making it our 8th stay. We feel so at home there and the property is well maintained. We find new updates each time we visit! Counting down the days until we get to go back!

Chris was more than helpful with info on surrounding area. plenty of written info on hand. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with a clean fresh smelling home. Everything was so neat and tidy without clutter. We enjoyed the screened in front and back porch especially during the rain. everything you needed was there. This is a very nice place to stay and the neighborhood was so quiet. Next door neighbors were very nice and offered any assistance if we needed it. All in all would recommend stay here. Thanks for letting us stay here.

The location and house was wonderful. Chris was great to deal with and very helpful. The house is located in quiet area but close to ferries and a quick ride to shops. Nice clean house. Will definitely love to go back soon.

Totally the best house/boat storage for our needs on the island. Friendly neighbor to make ya fill right at home as well. Always our first fishing trip of each year and love this area.

My wife and I have just concluded a wonderful five week vacation at the Hoi Toider. The home is clean, comfortable, commodious and well-equipped. The owners have thought of everything and are quick to respond to any questions one might have. The housekeeping service is excellent and was coordinated with our schedule. A big plus for us was the covered wash bay out back where we could hose down our boat and trailer after a day on the water. And so, without hesitation, we give an enthusiastic double thumbs-up to the Hoi Toider and a great big thank you to the Hefners and to Jenny.

This is the second year we’ve spent a week at the Hoi Toider. Very convenient to the Cape Point Marina and wildlife access. There is plenty of parking and room for boats. The house is very comfortable and has two great screened in Porches. We plan to be back next year!

We booked last minute and had a great experience. Owner called me personally the night before and gave me tips about the island and waterway being as we had never been there before. Cute decorations, spacious rooms, and easy to access everything we needed. About 30 minutes drive from Beaufort and only 5 minutes from the free boat ramp. So glad we chose to stay here with our 10 person group. Plenty of room for a big group.

My family and I stayed at your clean, lovely home in Harkers Island. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed walking to the Bogue Sound museum in the mornings. The ferry to Cape Lookout was only a mile away and the beach was beautiful. We checked out several beaches by ferry and they were all beautiful. Everything was wonderful about our stay, thank you so much!

This was our second year visiting Harkers Island and renting this property and we can’t wait for our next time. Always clean and in a nice, quiet location that is close enough to anything we want to do, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and relaxation. What a magnificent home! My husband and I stayed at the Hoi Toider for a week. From the moment we walked in we knew we had chosen the right place to relax. The home was not only immaculate but it has everything that you need for your stay. We were able to bring our 23ft boat and enjoyed some fishing by dropping our boat in the local marina. Harkers Island is a beautiful secluded area but you are only a few miles away from Morehead City, Beaufort, and Atlantic beach. Chris was amazing, very responsive and accommodating. We highly recommend the Hoi Toider and we look forward to returning soon.

If you like to stay on Harkers regularly this is a wonderful spot! Very quiet and neighbors are nice. You can take a walk to the inlet side and its a short drive to the point, seaside, and the Harkers beach. We had a wonderful relaxing time with plenty of room, cookware and it was very clean. We visit the island regularly and look forward to staying here again!

This property was just as listed. We found the property to be clean and properly prepared for our arrival. On the one occasion I checked in with the property manager, they were very quick to respond. If we decide to visit Harker’s Island again, this will be the first house we look at.
