Spectacular Saltburn

It was a little noisy. The beach road passes right outside the window.

An ideal property for a long weekend away with the family

The Nook is a beautiful, well-decorated property in an ideal location to explore Saltburn. We came for a long weekend and wanted to stay and explore the local area so it was good to have everything so close and not need to travel anywhere. It was walking distance from local shops and restaurants, and also from the beach and waterfront. It was also very handy that the funicular railway to the beach was just around the corner, which really helped as one of our family is not very mobile. We got a warm welcome from our hosts, with plenty of useful information about local amenities before we arrived and also a meet and chat when we arrived. There was also space to park our car, right outside the property.

We had no complaints at all, everything was as expected or better.

lovely modern bolt hole with great amenities

great family bolt hole, stylish, modern and sizeable. great view and accessible to town. really good modern amenities lovely bathroom nice bedding. owners, very accommodating and friendly cheese board was a a great welcome

proximity to the road. sound of traffic on the hill even through the night was a bit of a niggle. might be useful to add a torch or two in case of power cut!

Stylish yet comfy pad right by the sea

We were met by the host who helpfully explained some aspects of the property and recommended some places to eat. Met by a fabulous cheese and bread selection. Really love the decor and the vibe.

I would offer some earplugs as the nearby road noise was a little loud for us (partner is a light sleeper)

Serene and blissful.

Everything. The hosts were lovely and the accommodation was outstanding. The views and proximity to everything only added to the trip. We all loved it so much we wanted to stay longer and we have already been looking for when we can book again.

Very relaxing atmosphere in a wonderful property.

Cosy Nook is ideal for getting to the beach, and accessing the Cleveland Way. It is also close to the town centre for shopping plus restaurants and local deli's.

Cannot fault anything, even the weather was brilliant for early September.

Exellent find.

A lovely place to be with the sea views. Geoff and Sue were there to greet us. Such nice people and when we got in from a long drive there was a fresh french stick, amazing cheese board with grapes for us to enjoy. A coffee machine which I was so happy about. We did arrive on a very hot 4 days so the sky light made the living room and kitchen very warm. But there was a aircon unit which was a god send. Sue and Geoff waved us off as well. We found a lovely Italian in the town and not far from the Yorkshire National. We had such a lovely time. The Sea Views are from the living room in the Nook. We would go back for sure. Outstanding and the most beautifully presented holiday cottage with breathtaking sea view

The Nook is honestly the most serene and beautiful image we have ever stayed at. Everything at the property was just so thought out with everything available. Every little detail was thought of. Right near the beach with amazing beach views, just breathtaking!

Absolutely nothing not to like - the property was just so so perfect!

Excellent!!

Beautifully decorated with everything you need. The welcome pack of cheese and bread was a lovely addition. Saltburn-By-The-Sea is a great place to stay and watching the surfers each morning was a nice relaxing start to the day
