Agriturismo La Foresta is a restored farmhouse located in the hills in the heart of the Chianti Classico, in Tuscany, between Siena and Florence and surrounded by greenery among vineyards and olive groves. The farm has a panoramic swimming pool 6x14 mt. The apartment, with its own entrance, has a typical decor of Tuscan farmhouses; The beautiful terrace, overlooking the pool and hills, is furnished with a table, chairs and parasol and barbecue. The living room, with kitchenette, has a nice fireplace, there are then 2 bedrooms (double and twin), a bathroom with shower cabin.
The farm is close to famous tourist resorts like Radda in Chianti, Gaiole in Chianti, Greve in Chianti, Panzano, San Gimignano, Siena, Volterra, Castellina in Chianti and Florence.

Nice central location for our stay and travels to see the surrounding area. Easy access, good parking under shade of cover. Access to clothes washer was very much appreciated and clothesline drying was easy since we had wonderful weather. Lucia was great to meet us and guide us to a very secluded location of her guest house on arrival. She shared tips and information on surrounding sites and conveniences. She was always available but never disruptive to privacy. Kitchen was adequately provisioned to serve our cooking needs for breakfasts and dinners as desired. Our guest suite had a semiprivate patio surrounded by the privacy of olive trees, definitely recommend our suite over the others for that reason. Pool was very nice to enjoy, a few mosquitos while we were there, but not too terrible.2 things to be aware of.1. The air conditioner works VERY well, but only serves the Kitchen/Sitting area, not the bedrooms. You will need to leave the bedroom doors open to take advantage of some cooling, although not super effective if you need cool sleeping environment. The bedrooms have ceiling fans which made a difference, but the high temperature of our stay (85F) made for some sleeping discomfort until open windows cooled the bedrooms down at night. Bedroom with twin beds facing the pool has a great view from the windows. 2. Shower is extremely small, less than 2' square, so be aware it could present a problem for some. We definitely recommend this property and host!

Overall good accommodations. Linens and towels could use updating. Lucia was very nice and accommodating.

Spacious place in nature. lots of outdoor space with amazing pool. Kitchen and shower could be better but all in all a nice place
