We loved the location and staff at Harkasos! It’s in a small village so there was a calmer and quieter vibe and stellar night views of the starry sky from the terrace or while walking around. Bed was comfy in an atmospheric room. Tarik was very helpful and friendly! He helped us book a tour at a fair price and clearly communicated about shuttle times for tours/airport.
Because it’s in a smaller village a bit further out, it usually requires one more shuttle and a little extra time to get you into Urgup or Gerome. But it was worth it to be away from all the touristy shopping areas.

Tolle Lage & Atmosphäre: Sehr ruhige Ortschaft, alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten in maximal 30 Minuten erreichbar. Die Höhlen-Atmosphäre ist ein besonderes Erlebnis und im Sommer angenehm kühl.
Super Rezeption: Die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption war unglaublich lieb, geduldig und stets freundlich!
Preis-Leistung: Für ca. 130 € für 2 Nächte in einer King Suite preislich sehr attraktiv im Vergleich zu anderen Höhlenhotels.
Sauberkeit & Instandhaltung: Die Textilien (Fußmatten, Bettdecke) hatten Löcher. Im Wohnbereich lagen schon bei Ankunft lose Steine auf dem Boden, im Bad waren ungenutzte Rohre an der Wand montiert.
Unsauberer Whirlpool: Bei der ersten Nutzung kamen Haare von den Vormietern aus den Düsen. Wir mussten das Wasser erst ablassen und den Whirlpool selbst reinigen.
Kein Zimmerservice: Es wurde weder gefegt noch der Müll geleert (mit Kleinkind/Windeln sehr unangenehm). Falls man dafür den Schlüssel an der Rezeption abgeben muss, wurden wir beim Check-in leider nicht darüber informiert.
Belüftung: Hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit und modriger Geruch. Die Belüftung im Bad besteht nur aus einem kleinen Loch nach draußen.
Nicht barrierefrei: Viele Treppen. Kinderwägen müssen an der Rezeption stehen bleiben (bereits zur Rezeption führt eine Treppe).
Unfreundliches Partner-Restaurant: Das Personal beim Frühstück wirkte sehr lustlos und von Gästen um 9:00 Uhr genervt. Frühstücksmengen schwankten stark und Bestellungen wurden vergessen.
