Fantastic location, but our room was in need of some improvements

Beautiful location with great views. Giovanni, the host, was very responsive and helpful. We did not order the breakfast box, but nonetheless were provided with a coffee machine and wrapped cakes.

We had the triple room with garden view. Its shower basin was broken and badly repaired. There was only one bed side light, a rechargeable one. The number of electricity plugs was rather limited. The description mentioned an extra long bed, which appealed to me as I am tall. The outside metal frame was 2m, but the mattress inside it only about 1,80m and it was a pretty hard one. There was no blanket, but one was brought when we asked for it.

I needed the quiet calm and the fresh air.

I loved how calm and quiet it is. The horses in the pasture across the road were a wonderful surprise for my kids. The low clouds drifting through the mountains in the early morning was absolutely beautiful. The view of the castle was another site me and our kids were excited to see.

The one drawback is the lack of restaurants within walking distance. There are several restaurants that are only a 5-10 minute drive away so not too bad.

Great scenery and fantastic breakfast.

Excellent host, very attentive and went to every length to make us feel welcome and enjoy our stay. The breakfast was prepared fresh in the morning at a time of our choosing. There was variety and the food was superb; I highly recommend it.

The venue was used for an event on the same day that we arrived. There was a lunch with many people and loud music. Although, the room was quiet inside, the vent precluded us from using the garden and enjoying the views.
