The staff at Casa Decu were kind, prompt, and attentive. The rooms were clean and spacious. I felt safe in this space and even though there were some guests that were excessively noisy Casa Decu handled this well. For comfort they have fans/heaters in the room to address any temperature issues, this is very common in Mexico and not an issue for my stay in September. I additionally appreciate the toiletries for the shower as they are good quality as well.
The walls are very very thin, this could definitely be improved via adding some sound protection against walls that are by stairways and the doors/furniture can use some soft close mechanism or pads to avoid all the slamming from making it out of the room. This is definitely a product of the historic nature of the building, but small little touches like that can be addressed without major intervention.

Breakfast was hearty and delicious! Lots of choices too.
More space for travel toiletries in bathroom and more light in the bedroom would’ve been great.

Great location, comfortable bed
Paper thin walls, you can hear everything. Breakfast included was terrible, only had some bread, fruits and yoghurt, you have to pay extra for the real breakfast which is overpriced. The room itself is not a very nice place to be in, it gives a cold feel and the furniture is dusty.
