Fantastic, friendly, helpful hosts and excellent communication. Everything about the property was excellent - it is one of the very best rental properties I have every stayed in. It is incredibly convenient for all the attractions of this area of the Peak District.

⭐ 10/10 – Exceptional
We had a fantastic stay at Brinks View Cottage. Communication with Andy and Sarah before our visit was excellent, and they very kindly allowed us to check in early on the day of arrival.
The cottage itself was spotless, modern, and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a holiday stay. The kitchen was amazing with all the equipment, utensils and pots and pans we could have needed. There is a separate utility room with double sink, washing machine and tumble-dryer. We were greeted with a very generous welcome basket which included local produce and topped off with a bottle of wine — was such a lovely touch.
The beds were extremely comfortable, and the shower was powerful and refreshing — perfect after chilly walks.
The huge enclosed garden was perfect for our dog, Tex, who had the best time running up and down with Lottie, Andy and Sarah’s gorgeous Labrador. Inside, the log burner was ideal for the February weather, giving us some wonderfully toasty afternoons and evenings in the comfortable lounge.
The location in the centre of Hope was ideal, with pubs and cafés right on the doorstep, all very dog‑friendly. It was only around a 20‑minute drive to Ladybower and the Derwent Water dams, where we enjoyed some lovely walks. Castleton and the local caves were brilliant too — and we even took Tex with us on our Peak Cavern tour!
All in all, our stay was perfect. We highly recommend Brinks View Cottage and Andy and Sarah as hosts. We’d love to come back.

Was lovely and clean , everything you need is provided.
I didnt like the fact its pet friendly but the host wasn’t happy that my dog was on the sofa, dogs not allowed upstairs, my dog is used to been allowed to be comfortable at home were he wants. So he wasnt used to that, also i was not aware that the cottage is attached to the owners home so therefore the garden is shared also with there dog (who is lovely) but just be mindful if your dog dont get along with others. I didnt like the fact that the dog kept running in the cottage and going for my dogs food which my dog then didnt like.
