Beautiful setting, bright comfortable accommodation with much appreciated scones, tea and milk provided.

So much history to see in the area, shame the accommodation didn’t match expectations.

very musty smell all of the time, worse when shut up during the day. Main problem is that the building is a single skin brick outbuilding converted. Rising and penetrating damp are inevitable, a proper source heating and ventilation would help but ideally it needs dry lining like they have done in the shower room. The kitchen was adequate but very tired, insufficient utensils for those of us who self cater rather than eat out. Everywhere felt clammy by the early hours of the morning, not surprising given the construction. Not ideal for any guests with chest complaints!

Thoroughly enjoyed staying in this cottage.

Loved the garden very peaceful, well maintained. Even had a deer visit. The cottage had everything one could need. Loved the scones on arrival that were left in the kitchen. comfortable bed and sitting area. cosy.
