Cottage and garden are very picturesque and perfect for relaxing. Nice countryside walks nearby and also conveniently located for visiting Offa's Dyke, Hay on Wye, Hereford, Leominster and Ludlow. The food in the area is very good.
Personal preference rather than a dislike, we prefer very firm mattresses so the beds were too soft for us

I have stayed in a lot of holiday cottages, and I have to say that Lower Court Byre was probably the best one I've been to. There were plenty of spaces to relax whatever the weather, a most beautiful garden (with the added bonus of a daily visit from a Kingfisher!), excellent facilities (everything worked beautifully), comfortable in every way. Our host was lovely and made us a fabulous lemon cake as a welcome. The wifi was very good and reliable. The walking was excellent as were the lovely pubs where we ate. We would definitely want to stay again
I struggle to think of a downside! but I suppose if I was being really nit-picking, I think that the bedroom was big enough to accommodate a superking bed!! That would have been the icing on the cake, but to be honest the bed that was there was pretty big and very comfortable!

We loved everything about this cottage. A very homely place to stay. Location, hosts, wildlife and everything you need is on hand. The owners are there if you need them but they respect your privacy.
There is NOTHING we didn't like. Everything was fabulous.
