The cottage was very comfortable and well equiped. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful with ideas for local walks and places of interest.
There was a lovely welcome pack too.

Beautiful cosy cottage, peaceful and in a lovely rural location, only a couple of miles to nearby villages. Great place for exploring the area.

Meet at the gate by the owner and taken to tbe property, very welcoming and full of information about the property and facilities.

No B&B was expected but a small welcome basket was very welcome.
Some washing up liquid would have been nice and more than one toilet roll.
The access path to the cottage needs some tidying - gardening work to avoid getting caught up in the foliage.
Its a lovely cottage and a fabulous location. I spent a week there which suited my Hay-on-Wye commitments. I was alone.
Comfortable bed and clean sheets. Clean towels and several of them. Friendly dogs no problem.
The day I arrived I wished to contact the owner as I was running half an hour later than I expected ie 10.30 at night not 10.00. No phones were answered and I did get a message the office is closed.
I don't know what they are but there are hundreds of little tiny black creatures crawling about and I spent a great deal of time killing them. They seemed to come from the base of the staircase and were all in the downstairs o the cottage - thankfully not the bedroom. I was in need of warming up but unwilling to light a house fire as I was in and out a lot. I was therefore fairly cold more than once. I never saw the owners though Ian was there when I finally found them and I saw him for 5 minutes. That's it. They have Netflix and ITVX.
