Comfortable, cozy stay.
That it had 2 rooms so we didn’t have to stay in the same room with our kids. It also had air con, which was great as it was quite hot, even though it was built underground. It had a small kitchenette which is great, as eating out wasn’t an option when we were there.
No doors on the bedrooms. So privacy was thin. That said they are comfortable but small rooms and I’m not sure you could hang a door.

Great place to spend a night in Coober Pedy
- the host was a great source of information about Coober Pedy and also our onwards journey - room was well equipped, and having access to a kitchen was nice - fun sleeping underground
- parking was a little bit tight (but understandable given the location)

Underground room that's cool and a must to experience. Nice and quiet
So mosquito's in the room but I had my bug zapper to deal with them. It stormed and some water was dripping down the roof vents but this is unavoidable

Fun underground experience
The room was super cute, loved the aesthetic of it being underground and the style of hotel made me feel like I was in another country. The room was quite spacious, beds were pretty comfy and the fan was great as there was no air-conditioning. Friendly staff. Perfect outside area to watch sunset, cute little table and chairs and a swinging chair was a great touch.
There were quite large steps leading up into the room, which made getting luggage in a little difficult and made it hard for someone with not so great mobility. There was a communial fridge in the kitchen area but not one in the room which I would prefer. The towels were really rough.
