I am happy to return, if I am ever in Coober Pedy again.

The semi-subterranean apartment was fully equipped with stable temperature. Kitchen and living space were spacious and comfortable. Rooms were nice and clean.

In order to use the WiFi or mobile internet, one has to go outside of the apartment, as there is no signal inside. However, as the apartment is subterranean, this is understandable.

Unique underground stay experience. Apartment had all the cooking amenities, toiletteries provided, close to most of attractions. ,

There is nothing positive about this property.

Nothing.

There was nothing to like about this apartment. It was poorly maintained, very dirty, and in sore need of an upgrade. It represented extremely poor value for money. The front door was difficult to open, there was mould in the shower, areas of flooring (Lino) were torn and a dangerous trip hazard, a door fell off one of the kitchen cupboards when we opened it, the (bar) fridge was totally inadequate, the floor area around the fridge was filthy, there were hairs on the bed sheets, there were no mattress protectors, the bathroom door did not close properly. It was described as an apartment, but had no laundry facilities. The property describes itself as “Desert View”, but the only view was from the middle of the access road outside! We tried to contact the property management, but it went to voicemail. When we complained to Booking.com, they contacted the management, who said we could use another apartment and they would send cleaners. We refused because we did not believe any other apartment would be any better. We vacated the apartment and found an alternative that was in much better condition, more comfortable, and cost less! Thanks go to Booking.com for arranging a full refund for us.

Great location on the outskirts of town, nice and quiet and safe. Value for money

You will find the units dusty as compared to city standards but it is the outback, one sneeze and the place fills with dust

Spacious, well set up apartment.

The apartment was spacious and well set out, had everything we needed for our stay. Check in and out was very easy with a lockbox. Had a lovely outlook and views of the sunset. Would be happy to stay there again.

Passable

The type of building.It had a full functional kitchen,just need a clean in between the fridge.

It was too costly for the fact that there was no internet .no laundry facilities,dirty outside so you can't sit and enjoy the view.,TV poor picture.key box not lockable or closable once opened.

Probably wouldn't stay again

The King Sized Bed Was Comfortable. The Walk Up The Hill Had A Nice View

Bedding was Ancient & smelt terrible. Rug on the floor in family room was disgusting, Bathroom was dirty, Single Beds were horrible & extremely uncomfortable. Cockroaches everywhere at night.

The best underground accommodation in Coober Pedy we’ve experienced.

It was clean, spacious and comfortable. Unusually for dugouts, it has the kitchen and living room opening to natural light; and lovely to sit outside the apartment under a verandah, to look at the stars. It was also very good to be able to park the car so close to the room.

iI was very warm after days of high temperatures and no Aircon, but the overhead fans were great.

Value for money, but can easily be improved.

The accommodation is value for money, so not too much is expected. However, my room was quite close to the laundry, so it was a bit noisy in the morning. Overall it was not so clean, and so was Coober Pedy. The swimming pool was broken, a bit of disappointment.

Overnight stay

Staff were friendly and the check in was easy. Good that you could park right outside the unit. Ok for an overnight stay.

The apartment is extremely old and outdated, for example original lino, carpet, beds, bathroom and kitchen. Inside it was quite dirty and dusty, lots of cockroaches and there was a dirty tissue behind the bedroom door. We selected to stay here as it had a pool advertised, pool was not operating and looked like it hadn't functioned for a while. Also advertised as having WiFi, it really didn't work unless near the reception. My card was also charged after leaving, even though I had already paid in advanced. I completely understand that this was an accident, they communicated well and the money was returned asap, I was just a bit shocked that this type of admin mistake could occur.

location just out of town not far though, staff fixed shower an allowed kids to shower in next room..

shower didn’t work, hot water system was off, took along time to heat up, fridge was switched off, room not ready
