About this condo rental
Located in Cummaquid, this charming condo for $199 per night is a great choice for your next break. ★Welcome to the OSPREY NEST SUITE★ Ideally located just off Historic 6A (The Old King's Highway) in a picturesque section of Barnstable, this light and bright studio suite, with separate entrance & deck, is the perfect spot to enjoy your relaxing Cape Cod getaway. Located just a mile outside of charming Barnstable Village, and a stroll away from both a small quiet bayside beach and the fabulous trails of the MA Audubon's Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary, it is also within a quick 10 minute drive to one of the most happening towns on the Cape, Hyannis. This newly updated suite is very private; located above our home. There are outdoor steps leading to its own separate entrance and little deck. It is well appointed with a small nicely equipped kitchen (Mini fridge, Elect. Cooktop, Microwave, Toaster Oven, Coffee Maker, etc.), great built-in table with banquette seating, comfy queen size bed with a wonderful reclaimed wood bedframe made by a New England craftsman, twin size sleeper sofa, wall mounted TV, and two closets with plenty of storage. The nicely sized full bath has a walk-in shower, along with a washer & dryer. A Mini Split AC/Heat System keeps the suite cool when needed in the Summer and warm and cozy in the Winter. With loads of windows, and a fabulous bird's-eye view above the secluded backyard, the Osprey Nest is sure to become your favorite Cape Cod escape! Please note: The Osprey Nest Suite is located in the back of the house in the upper level. To access its private entrance and deck there are 16 wooden outside steps to climb.(see photos) No Children Under 10 years of age. No Smoking No Pets Our own dog is on premises

Peaceful, adorable, ultra clean, beautiful linens, everything you need is already there, the location is super convenient to most destinations on the Cape. Carol and Gene could not have been more perfect hosts! Thank you - thank you we had a wonderful getaway!

A great layout. CLEAN and well appointed. Private & quiet. The back yard was a lovely place to sit and enjoy. Right off of route 6A so easy access. Carol was a wealth of information and was a pleasure to communicate with before and during our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

The Osprey Nest is situated in a quiet road. Amenities such as restaurants and supermarkets are only a short drive away. The property itself is well equipped and had literally everything we needed from washing up liquid to beach chairs. The owners responded to emails instantly. A fabulous property which we definitely return to on our next visit to Cape Cod.

This property is just as described. Actually better than described. It is fully supplied with everything and in working order. The Nest is very private. Very quiet neighborhood walking distance to downtown Barnstable, whale watching and the beach (20 minutes or so). Hosts are on property and very helpful.

The suite was incredibly clean and located in a perfect spot for us as we were traveling to get Scuba certified. Carol’s communication was excellent and so accommodating. We will definitely be making recommendations to stay here to any friends traveling to the Cape!

The Osprey Nest was immaculate and welcoming with whimsical details! Felt secluded and peaceful yet just a short ride to get coffee, have dinner or go shopping. Carol and Gene were wonderful hosts. We hope to visit again someday!

Immaculate, cozy suite centrally located; Barnstable Village was within walking distance, as was the Audubon sanctuary. Close to several eateries. The Osprey Nest suite contained all possible amenities including great Wifi connection & TV programming. Plenty of privacy & the owners were very welcoming.

The studio apartment was cute, clean, and well-designed. My wife and I really had a relaxing time, the location is great! We were close to shopping, restaurants, and the beach.
We hope to come back soon.

My husband and I stayed at this property for our wedding weekend in late September, and it was everything advertised and then some. Very clean, beautiful property/location, and had all the amenities you could need. As my partner put it, "whenever I needed something and looked for it, there it was." Consistent communication with hosts too. Highly recommend, great in general and especially for couples looking for a get-a-way.

Not even close! If I could rate this rental 10 stars I would. It was the perfect location to explore the Cape. Very clean, organized, and easy to get to right off the main Hwy. Must be able to go up a set of outdoor stairs to access.

Everything about our stay was perfect! From the checking in process to checking out, all was easily explained and easy to do. Everything we could have needed was there waiting for us, and the location was essentially in the middle of everything so traveling anywhere was easy! The space is quaint and cozy while also romantic! We will definitely plan to stay here again!

Weekend at The Osrey’s Nest
Our trip to the Osprey’s Nest was excellent. Our hosts made everything super easy and the room was fantastic. It was like being at home while we were away for the weekend. Highly recommended for any one looking to stay in Cape Cod.

The town of Barnstable was very quaint with great restaurants and market. We spent a day on the bay beach 20 minutes away and then took ferry to Martha's vineyard which was only 10 minutes way. Even though the place was above the owners home, it felt very secluded. The attention to detail was amazing and we really loved our stay!
