About this house rental
Located in Sunnyside, this lovely house for $250 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Enjoy this charming, cozy, 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Cottage on the quiet West End of Panama City Beach. Just steps away, walk to the world's most beautiful, white sandy beaches! Three blocks from the gulf, a short five minute walk or, drive in our private 6 seater Golf Cart for $450 per stay. ( This is not a street legal golf cart, just intended for leisure trips through the neighborhood and to the beach access. Drivers must be 18 years or older with a valid drivers license)*** After fun filled days playing at the beach, shopping at Pier Park, enjoying Gulf World or Goofy Golf, enjoy quiet evenings on the patio grilling on the charcoal grill while watching the kids swim in the small private pool, complete with tanning deck. Enjoy the comfy living room with large 55" ROKU TV, free wifi and internet. Stretch out in the cozy master bedroom on the King size bed with a 32" ROKU tv, and private ensuite bathroom.. The second bedroom has a comfy queen size bed with plenty of natural light. The third bedroom has two twin beds, perfect for the littles in the family. The Kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking utensils needed to make your delicious home made meals when you want to stay in and just put your feet up and relax! Pets are welcome with Non-Refundable $250 PET fee per pet, with a limit of two pets, up to 35#. Cleaning is provided before and after each stay . Cleaning is not provided during the stay. If cleaning is required or requested, the charge will be passed onto the guest. Vacation Rental Agreement: Upon booking property, you are agreeing to these terms: HOLD HARMLESS For the property at 405 Kelly St, Panama City Beach, Florida. Owner attempts to properly maintain the vacation rental. The vacationer agrees to immediately notify the owner of any maintenance problem, so that the situation can be remedied as soon as possible. Owner is not responsible for any inconveniences that may occur for which he has no control. We enjoyed our stay. Our pup loved the fenced in back yard and being able to walk to the beach. The house was welcoming and we really appreciated the kind details over the winter season that our host supplied.

The house is in a good location to the beach and restaurants. We used the golf cart to get around. The owners were close by, and were receptive to answering questions. Overall a nice stay.

Our stay at "Whale of a Tale" was simply perfect. The location, cozy house, private pool, and golf cart made it an ideal vacation spot. Our kids had a blast in the pool, and our dog had a great time in the fenced backyard. We're immensely grateful to Teri and Jerry for their warm welcome and helpfulness throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place for a truly relaxing getaway.

This was our 2nd visit to this property and it was perfect both times. It is very close to the beach and the pool and fenced backyard for our dog make it a perfect vacation spot. The owner is very responsive if needed and the home is very clean and has everything needed to enjoy your vacation. We would definitely recommend and book this property again. Thank you so much.

We enjoyed our stay. Property was clean and comfortable.Location was easy to get to and grocery/restaurants were close by. The beach was at the end of the street and easy access (just a few stairs down).
backyard was fenced in and lots of privacy. We used the golf cart - took a little getting use to the breaks not sure if they were getting a little wear.
The host responded quickly when we had a question.
I would recommend Whale of a Tale if you plan on the PCB area without the 30A traffic.

If it were possible to give above a 5 star rating, I would! This house was PERFECT in every way. My husband, adult daughter and our dog stayed for the week and one of the best parts of this property is the outdoor space. Our dog loved the fenced in yard and we loved the adorable pool. Being a block from the beach in a nice, safe area was the best. We literally had everything we needed, including some fun beach toys! Cannot recommend The Whale Tale enough-thank you for the best vacation ever!

Our family of 5 and two frenchies stayed at Whale of a Tale for a week. This rentals location is perfect. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach. That’s a little far if your carrying beach gear and coolers. The golf cart was a life saver. Highly recommend renting it. Made quick trips to Winn Dixie very easy. The home is just as described in listing. Very clean upon arrival. Plenty of starter toiletries. Detergent, dryer sheets, dish soap, dishwasher pods, paper towels, toilet paper are just a few. Plenty of towels for pool. The fenced yard was great for our Frenchies. Plenty of small kitchen appliances and kitchen ware.

Perfect vacation rental for our family of five. Definitely recommend golft cart with rental. Worth it for the convenience to beach and some joy riding around the block with kids. The pool made up for not being able swim at the beach all week due to double red flags. BIG WIN!! House was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Overall we are very happy and had a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Very convenient to dining and shopping!!

Everything about this property was great. Easy access to beach; definitely get the golf cart. I’m stereotypically cheap but every dime we spent was well worth it. Great spot, clean home, couldn’t asked for anything better. No complaints, just wish I could’ve stayed another week.

This little house with its pool is just what we wanted. Close enough to PCB but far enough away from all the partying. Quiet neighborhood and beach just a short distance away. This little house is decorated very nicely, suffiently stocked kitchen, clean as it can be and the small pool was perfect for us. It is also private without a lot noise or other people around. We loved our time here and will be repeat vacationers here. We try once or twice a year to meet our friends from Ohio (we are in TN) and spend a week together and this was the perfect place perfect. The 4 of us highly recommend! The one level without stairs is great for people who may have difficulties with stairs or small children. The host, Teri is so responsive and helpful! We had an issue with wifi when we first got there and I sent a msg and she responded right away. Turns out just needed to be restarted and worked great after that. We will be back! We love it. It is by far our new place to stay at the beach.

We enjoyed our Spring Break stay at this cozy coastal cottage. Teri was very easy to communicate with and accommodating. The king bed was comfortable and my teenagers said their beds were comfy, too. Nice sheets and bedding on them all. I would recommend getting the golf cart. It was the best way to get to the beach. The yard was fenced and provided a great space for our small dog. There’s a Publix and Winn-Dixie nearby for groceries and lots to do in the area. A great place to kick back, relax and listen to the waves.

This is our second time we stayed here. The location is great and the golf cart is a must, otherwise, it would be a long walk if you have kids and too much beach stuff. The property owners/managers are so amazing and prompt with any needs! Our family has loved staying here!

We had a really wonderful time at this home. House was just as pictured. Teri was wonderful with communicating. The garage is fully loaded with pool toys, beach toys, a wagon, cooler, some chairs. There was also a small charcoal grill. We brought our golf cart, I imagine the walk would be about 12-15 mins. We did have an issue with the cleaners and Teri was kind and professional and handled it. This house is great for small families.

House is in a great location , quiet neighborhood close to the beach. We rented the golf cart and used it to go back and forth to the beach. Kids loved having the pool to cool off in when returning from the beach. Host was prompt to respond and great to work with. We enjoyed our week at the beach!

This property had a great location and size. We were visiting for a softball tournament and we had great easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. The beach is also a very close walk and easy to access. The house just wasnt very clean. The tub already had a ring when we arrived, the counters were full of crumbs and things in general were grimy and unclean. There was also a lot of animal hair on the duvet in the main bedroom. It was the first time I arrived at a VRBO and had to wash the bedding and clean certain areas to feel comfortable. From reading the other reviews, I hope this was an aberration. It truly felt like someone stopped cleaning 30% of the way through. The pool was a great size for a family dip. Overall a good rental but the cleanliness issues negatively impacted our trip.

Fantastic stay!
This property was perfect for our trip to PCB for our son’s baseball tournament. It was the perfect size for our family, very clean, well stocked, and exactly as the pictures depict it. I was worried the pool would be too small, but it was perfect for our kids to enjoy and for us to cool off in. It was great to have our own pool in the backyard. It was also great to not have to deal with the parking garage and elevator nightmare others dealt with at the larger condos! The neighborhood felt safe and was very quiet. The beach was close by; we chose to drive. We didn’t take advantage of the golf cart due to our baseball schedule, but it looked to be in great condition. We had no issues with the TV that other reviews mention. We drove into the busier PCB areas almost every day and the house was closer than I was thinking it would be. The host replied to all of my questions quickly as well. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a quieter PCB stay, and will stay here again if we return to PCB.

The house was clean and cozy. We loved swimming in the pool and taking the golf cart to the beach! The nearest beaches were beautiful and not too crowded, which was awesome. We had one small issue while we were there and the property owner was very quick to resolve the problem which we very much appreciated. We will definitely be back!

Great little place to stay
We enjoyed our stay at this house, the beds were super comfortable, the yard was a great size and it had a pool which was a hit with the children. The check-in was super easy, and we were able to rent the golf cart the owners had in the garage which was awesome when going to and from the beach with children. The property manager was super accommodating with everything and seems like such a sweet lady. If available next year, we will try to get back to this same house.

We found we did not need a golf cart however. We could walk to the beautiful beach and we carried the provided beach chairs and beach towels. There is a smaller restaurant for breakfast and lunch walking distance but check open hours. Also a few other west end restaurants, but to get to some of the more popular restaurants you will need to drive to them as most are on the east end of PCB. We were early for dinners, 4:30-5ish, and did not have trouble with parking. There are many fabulous parks with walking and/or biking trails near by. Communication with owner, Teri, was excellent. All in all, we had a wonderful, relaxing time.
