Location was very good partially in the forest. Room was clean, comfortable with good kettle
At the time it was very icy but not a lot the hotel could have done about that some gritting may have helped on paths and car parks. Our two bed house had very noisy ‘unidentified wildlife’ living in the loft space which disturbed the upper room

Great location tucked away in the forest ensured a calm environment. Generous proportion bathroom with a great bath. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The evening meal was OK, the breakfast was generous and plenty of choice
The rooms was dated and had a smell of cold tobacco, not powerful but noticeable. Service for the evening meal was mediocre overs 2h to have a bowl of mussels and a desert. The food was OK.
